Elton John blasts Madonna (again)

Funny enough I sort of agree with what he said.

Elton John may have sang that Saturday night is alright for fighting, but when it comes to Madonna, Sunday suited him, too. After taking swipes at the Material Girl on a few occasions over the years, the "Tiny Dancer" singer leveled his most bitter blow at her in an August 5 interview with Australia's Channel 7, during which he gave his thoughts on the 53-year-old's MDNA tour, which has been rife with controversy (Madonna flashing the crowd and using a gun as a prop) and low with ticket sales.

"She's such a nightmare," said John, 65. "Her career is over, I can tell you that. Her tour has been a disaster and it couldn't happen to a bigger [expletive]. If Madonna had any common sense, she would have made a record like Ray of Light, stayed away from the dance stuff, and just been a great pop singer and made great pop records, which she does brilliantly. But no, she had to prove that she was like … and she looks like a [expletive] fairground stripper. And she's been so horrible to [Lady] Gaga," he added about his friend, who also happens to be his 19-month-old son Zachary's godmother.

The feud between Madonna and John first began in 2004 when he accused her of lip synching during her live performances. Then this past January, when both were nominated for Best Original Song at the Golden Globes, they traded barbs on the red carpet about their competition. After John said that Madonna "hasn't got a f---ing chance" at winning, she responded with, "Oh damn him … may the best man win." And when she did, all hell broke loose. John's husband David Furnish unleashed his fury on his Facebook page after the awards ceremony. "Madonna. Best song???? F--k off!!!" he wrote in a post he later deleted. "Madonna winning Best Original Song truly shows how these awards have nothing to do with merit. Her acceptance speech was embarrassing in its narcissism. And her criticism of Gaga shows how desperate she really is."

Two weeks later, John skewered Madonna once again when talking about her Super Bowl halftime performance. During an interview he did to promote his Pepsi commercial, which aired during the big game, he was asked to give the singer advice. His snarky response? "Make sure you lip sync good."

Please that was the stupidest part. If she could, she would. It's like her telling him why don't you write a song better than Benny and the Jets or some of his other hits. When was the last time you heard one of his songs. Last time I remember one was in the Lion King in 1994
