So, my friend from Germany is coming over later this week.

It's likely he wants us to go to the bath house together, but I have a huge wart on the side of one of my feet.

Now, of course, I'm treating it, but it won't be gone in time.

How do I hide it in such a way, that I can still take a shower or a bubble bath?

You could try burning or cutting it out but no. Don't do that.

Just find one of these products. They work.

And just explain that you have a plantar's wart and you don't want to get it wet.

You'll be fine.

There are lots of shower shoes/sandals available for just such occasions.

Do you already own beach sandals? Maybe those "jelly" types?

Otherwise, coloured condoms - two or three for darkening.:)

If it's painful and you have access to Immediate Care medical services, a wart can be frozen off using liquid nitrogen in a single visit -- if they use liquid application as opposed to the spray version it can b completely gone before leaving the doctor's office.

I watched a guy burn off a wart using a cigaret -- no contact, just very close proximity. The real troubles with that approach are two: first, it requires an incredibly steady hand and absolutely no movement of the targeted spot; second, if done without burning the skin as well the wart will come back.

An old home remedy is to tape a small aspirin tablet to the wart; change the tablet every six hours until the wart is flat. I don't know if this can actually kill a wart since they have "roots" in the skin.

Supposedly, touching a wart with a live electrical wire will burn it out, but I think that would leave a scar.

In my university days a gal I knew claimed she'd eliminated a wart by regularly painting it with clear fingernail polish, though that took like three weeks.

Keep your socks on? ;)

They won't allow that.

Was looking for something like that. I'll see tomorrow if it's available.

I've frozen this wart twice and also sanded it away, but it tends to bleef.

Get a tattoo of an old hag with a wart on her face.

🤣

The nail polish sounds interesting, might try that as well.

Thank you all.

They'll see at the hottub.
I have to say, I don't think a foot wart is a big deal. They happen. It's not like you were going to touch them with your feet. If it really bothers you, perhaps just lie and refer to it as a birthmark if anyone is rude enough to mention it. That kind of rudeness deserves a lie.

Could a little metallic paint make it look like a piercing? Maybe hang a piece of chain with a dangling gem from it?

Get a pair of these for when you are walking around:

If you are engaged in other activities you can take them off, No one will be looking at your feet.
