you're fucked up.
Nah im messing, Like hetero males can get a man crush, why cant you get a woman crush? I got those.

I'm pretty sure I'd be head-over-heels in love with my best (female) friend if I swung that way...but because i love the cock so much its just borderline bromance/sisterhood/platonic life partner-ness.
Although, I did have a dream last night where I made out with her. Kind of grossed me out a lot.

So to answer your question, I'd say that yes it is possible to be in love with a girl if you're a gay male...but love as in the love shared between friends or family, not the love shared between romantic partners.

Do you find any other women attractive in a sexual way? Strangers on the street, celebs, co-workers? Or just this one friend?

As Katy Perry would say... that's what you get for waking up in Vegas. :p

It's definitely possible. I have a female friend I would be absolutely wild about if I wasn't into dudes.

It's possible for straight guys to have the same type of feelings, but they're very concerned about not looking gay so it gets hidden.

I think that is perfectly possible, nice to know that there are others that were thinking the same as me! lol.

You feel how you feel. To me, though, you're describing a bff not a potential lover. I can relate--sort of. I love my best my best friend Amanda. I chat w/ her almost everyday. We get along great. I know her inside and out and she knows me inside and out. But, we just aren't lesbians. Same connection, no sex.

Read your post, and the answer is yes. I was married to a woman for 25 years, before I realized it was not who I was. I do understand. Emotions can be confusing.

Shep+..|

I hate to be a dickhead here, but in your case, you are only doing it because you're a self-loathing fucked up closeted case. Sorry, someone had to say it.

Please don't ever "fall in love" with another person because you want to avoid being yourself.

I don't think I can be emotionally in love with another girl. If that is possible, then heck, we are all straight.

Sexuality is complex blah blah blah, people can be emotionally attached to another and not have any sexual feelings for them

For many gays though a woman can't satisfy the emotional need that a man provides

You're the first person that I've heard that from. Normally, it's fellas stating that they're sexually attracted to men, but emotionally attracted to women. That's always been a puzzler to me.

I guess we're all different.

I know you don't hate being gay (I think) But here is a couple (gay man married to a woman) emotionally in love...

This video shows that it is possible... But you may not be all the way satisfied...

Oh, is that directed at me?
Sweatheart...
I don't wanna sound like a shmuck myself, but who are you to talk about avoiding being yourself, when in reality, you don't know me. :)
Don't know the situation?

I Asked a pretty general question here.

Unless the original post in this thread is just full of metaphors that I don't get and it's really a post about how much you like dead giraffes or something, the situation here is pretty clear: you're gay and you like a really hot girl -- doesn't take a genius to figure that out.

I know I don't know you or the situation you are in, but so far, from the posts you create, you come off as a closeted case looking for reasons not to be gay.
You don't have to prove me wrong or right. I don't even have to care what I think. Just sayin'

I Asked a pretty general question here.

At JUB, no matter how general or specific the question is, I will turn it into an one man intervention.

I totally love one girl (space) friend of mine. She's ridiculously amazing at being a mom, she's attractive, and we connect really well. I would do most anything for her, and I'm pretty sure she'd do the same for me. But it's not "like that," and I'm not putting something into the relationship that shouldn't be there.

... ya know??
