End Of The Road.-Done W/Trucking!

Glad for you---traveling all over the country sounds romantic and all, but my ass would hurt from all that driving.

Have you thought about the disappointment for all those jubbers who have been dreaming of having sex with you in that truck sleeper? ;)

Best of luck with the new life.

Congrats on the new job.

Your life may not be as varied and full of unexpected events, but it should finally give you time to settle and be the homebody.

Congrats on the new job..I came off the road on my 50th birthday last year...I dropped the rig in Raleigh North Carolina (prior arrangements) and had to a friend to pick me up and haul my ass back home to FL...Dont miss those 1o hour hauls..

Congrats, man! While the scenery won't be as nice from the new truck, the fact that you can now have a life and plan things around your home is great news!

great news, good luck in your new job!

COol... I have always wanted to travel in a truck with a driver. Maybe I can when I retire and know someone who would enjoy my company while on the road.

Way to go google!!! ..|

I'm happy for you...

but...

Now who am I going to call when I'm struggling to stay awake???

I enjoyed meeting you out on the road -- and all the times we were able to meet up through the years...

BEST OF LUCK in your new career!!!

:):):)

but my ass would hurt from all that driving.
Oh, sure. From all the driving... :p

Kenny, I'm happy for ya, man.

I can't even conceive of having the mindset to climb into a giant truck and drive it across the country. There's not enough Xanax in the world that would allow me to do that...

I think having a 'regular' job and joining a local gym and such is going to do you a *world* of good.

Things are about to take a very positive turn in your life, babe. I can just feel it....

Congratulations I am happy to hear that things are going your way!!!!

Wow, congrats!

:band:

You have had a great 2009! Clean and Sober, New Apartment, New Job!

I'm impressed.

I'm having trouble finding the wherewithall just to get a haircut.

congrats! now you can get to know all those local gay boys at the gym and in your neighborhood.

Way to go Kenny.
I spotted for awhile for the USPS in DC. but I couldn't wait to bid to a local route.
It was not my thing, I found it tedious when busy and then other times very boring. Plus I managed to bang up a few trailers in that super crowded busy yard and it wasn't the 45 or 48' trailers that gave me hell of course it was the pups. Backing those bitch's in those dark docks for hours on end tore on me after a bit. Sometimes I would take the radio and pull the battery out of it because there was a never ending line of trailers and I was sick of glad hands or pieces of shit trailers where the doors wouldn't open or didn't have latches. Mainly I just am not yard material.
In fact the only thing worse was working a short gig for big ass redneck KLLM out of Jackson MS. Fuck that noise.
But that was me.
Without a doubt the best gig driving was when I left the USPS and went to Exxon & then Citgo. Couldn't beat hauling petro products for loading and unloading plus the 4 days on 3 off with sweet overtime........and a day cab.

I'm real happy for ya Kenny.

I'm glad everything is working out for you. You deserve it.
