Today's newspaper has MORE news of even MORE young men wanting to kill in their chosen country.

They were targeting the local army barracks— just like the Michael Adebolajo and Michael Adebowale who used a meat cleaver and knives to hack Lee Rigby to death.

I wonder if they were going to use handguns or use the more appropriate knife?

A senior detective from Scotland Yard was on the news tonight saying that 216 suspects have been questioned in England, Scotland and Wales since the beginning of the year. One tenth of those were charged.

Whilst I did not agree with all of Tony Blair's decisions as Prime Minister, it must be borne in mind that he did a lot of good things for the LGBT community during his time in office, including lowering the age of consent for homosexual couples so that it was equal to that of heterosexual couples, repealing Section 28 of the Local Government Act which prohibited authorities in England and Wales from "promoting" homosexuality and labelled gay family relationships as "pretend", the legal recognition of transsexual people, the introduction of civil partnerships (a precursor to the legalisation of gay marriage), preventing employers from firing their employees because of who they love, and making homophobia a hate crime - these achievements were all part of Tony Blair's legacy (which should not be solely defined by the Iraq War), and for that I am grateful.

I'm not very good at English regional accents. I think I can recognise Welsh, Liverpool, Cockney, Scottish and West Country but I wonder where this Brit came from in this newly-uploaded video—

Either south London, or east London.

(from the identical sound of the 'i' and 'ou' vowels said in 'side' and 'you' to that I hear in rap from that area)

He trained the 'Shoe Bomber' who tried to kill 197 passengers above the Atlantic and the US charged him over his role in conspiring to set up a militant training camp in Oregon.

The ever-tolerant British eventually gaoled him for his activities at the Belmarsh Prison in London but even there he was found with a bombmaking handbook inside his cell.

^ Even though Hamza is in gaol the ever-tolerant English are allowing his wife and some of his eight children to continue living in their taxpayer-funded £1.25million house – and receive £650 a week in state benefits. £33,800 a year.

Two of the sons were gaoled for their involvement in a bomb plot and for a car crime scam. Another was gaoled for two and a half years for handling stolen goods and another for armed robbery. And today another was convicted for knifing, strangling and battering a rival with a metal bar.

So I guess they're speaking "Jafaican" as well as "Wigga".

Staines is all of 20 mins from London on the train.
The accent does not really have an ethnicity so much - so both those terms are loaded for what it is. Saying that it has certainly risen out of the mixing of a lot of different ethnic accents into a more common one for all.
