A flashback to 2019...

Senator Ben Sasse [R-NE] deserves much of the credit for going after the Epstein investigation. He even brought it up in Bill Barr's confirmation hearings. Barr mentions "Kirkland & Ellis" which was the law firm that Barr had been working for. Kirkland & Ellis represented Epstein in the 2008 Florida "sweetheart deal" that forgave the Federal charges against Epstein, although Barr was not personally involved in representing Epstein:
