Epstein, Epstein, Epstein . . . but don't give up

While the British media seem to have rediscovered Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, another story flew under the radar: how Steve Bannon was working with Jeffrey Epstein to "take down" Pope Francis.

Steve Bannon was corresponding with Jeffrey Epstein in 2019- nearly up to the day that Epstein was arrested and charged and over a decade after Epstein became a convicted sex offender. Bannon referred to Epstein as "brother".

Steve Bannon, a former White House adviser to US President Donald Trump, discussed opposition strategies with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein against Pope Francis, with Bannon saying he hoped to “take down” the pontiff, according to newly released files from the US Department of Justice.

Messages sent between the pair in 2019, released in the massive document dump last month, reveal Bannon courted the late financier in his attempts to undermine the former pontiff after leaving the first Trump administration.

Bannon had been highly critical of Francis whom he saw as an opponent to his “sovereigntist” vision, a brand of nationalist populism which swept through Europe in 2018 and 2019. The released documents from the DOJ appear to show that Epstein had been helping Bannon to build his movement.

“Will take down (Pope) Francis,” Bannon wrote to Epstein in June 2019. “The Clintons, Xi, Francis, EU – come on brother.”

Another one resigning to spend more time with family:

Hyatt executive chairman steps down over Epstein ties

Billionaire Tom Pritzker announced on Monday he was retiring as executive chairman of Hyatt Hotels after his association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein was revealed in the latest release of files by the US Justice Department.

Pritzker, who has been executive chairman since 2004, also said he won’t stand for re-election with the company’s board.

Another stellar decision by Bari Weiss and company over at CBS. They're retained the "low carb pussy" fan Peter Attia, who Weiss hired as a commentator for CBS News:

CBS Quietly Decides to Retain Peter Attia as Contributor Despite Epstein Fallout, Network Staffers Say

CBS News has quietly decided to retain contributor Peter Attia despite the release of emails showing extensive communications with Jeffrey Epstein, according to staffers at the network.

Attia was among 19 new on-air contributors introduced by editor-in-chief Bari Weiss in late January, only to be featured in the tranche of Epstein documents released by the Justice Department days later.

The Guardian detailed Attia's love of Epstein, his fawning emails and his "wink wink" attitude toward Epstein's reputation. The emails continued long after Epstein's Florida conviction.
But on 30 January, the justice department’s release of millions of documents showed that Attia had expressed a fondness for Epstein and used extremely graphic language in at least one email to him. That Attia had met with Epstein was previously known before CBS News hired him.

A search of Attia’s name in the justice department’s database returns 1,838 results.

“I go into JE withdrawal when I don’t see him,” Attia wrote in one January 2016 email to Epstein’s assistant.

A year earlier, in an exchange with Epstein, Attia seemed to hint at his knowledge of Epstein’s misdeeds – though he has denied that he was referring to criminal sexual activity.

“You [know] the biggest problem with becoming friends with you?” he wrote in the email. “The life you lead is so outrageous, and yet I can’t tell a soul … ”

And in one particularly lewd 2016 email, Attia wrote to Epstein: “Pussy is, indeed, low carb. Still awaiting results on gluten content, though.”

Speaking of princesses, has the Peter Mandelson affair made much impression in America? It's been the lead story here for several weeks, although it's currently on the back burner.

No hint of sexual goings-on here—Mandy's scandals have always been about money and back-stairs deals. In this case he passed on confidential information from a cabinet meeting to his beloved friend Jeffrey and helped the bigwigs at JP Morgan to lobby the Chancellor of the Exchequer to reduce the tax on bankers' bonuses.

There is also a curious sub-plot featuring Mandelson's husband, who went begging to Epstein for a loan of £10,000 to pay his osteopath's bill, even though Mandelson is reckoned to have a personal fortune of about £10,000,000.

Yes and no.

It's mentioned that Mandelson and husband were involved with Epstein and that it might be the anchor that drowns Starmer. But most Americans don't know who these people are.

More than anything it's being drowned out by the putrid details of some of the most wealthy in America having their intimate correspondence revealed. Americans are steeped in conspiracy theories at the moment, particularly the revelation that there's a cabal of men- particularly Jewish men- who are wealthy and powerful but who have no clue how to get pussy. The ranch in New Mexico... the island in the Caribbean... the apartment in NYC... the President's club in Palm Beach... the tawdry things that we're finding out are completely overwhelming details of the criminality of Epstein's money laundering, embezzlement and Zionist complicity.

Mandelson's homosexuality ends up being his saving grace. At least he wasn't involved in the trafficking of young women and underage girls.

"Effluent" and "affluent" are just one letter in difference but man, oh man, are they synonymous in the Epstein files.

I think it was actually to pay for an osteopathy course. As you say, it's hard to imagine that Mandelson couldn't lay his hands on £10,000.

In the emails, the said that the didn't want Mandelson to know that Epstein had loaned him the money.

Similarly, Epstein was forking out money for Fergie & spawn to fly first class from UK to US. Epstein's willingness to write checks seemed to have earned him many friendships.

The Epstein ranch in New Mexico:

State legislators in New Mexico launched an investigation Tuesday into past activity at a secluded desert ranch where financier and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein once entertained guests, and whether local authorities looked the other way.

A bipartisan, four-member panel of state House representatives are investigating allegations that the ranch may have facilitated sexual abuse and sex trafficking. New Mexico lawmakers also say they want to know why Epstein was not registered as a sex offender after pleading guilty in 2008 to soliciting prostitution from an underage girl and whether there was corruption among public officials.

One thing I read somewhere is that when Epstein paid for Fergie and her daughters to fly to the US together, Fergie went first class and the girls sat in steerage. How many other parents would do that?

The number that I saw was something on the order of $15K for the 3 air fares. If the girls were in coach for a transatlantic flight for that price, they got screwed (or to use Fergie's word... shagged)!
