Love seeing pix and video of straight guys getting wood while in the gym shower. Especially in front of other guys.

Anyone have anything to share?

Most guys on my cc team put swim trunks on to shower.

So sad, have noticed that the younger generation do not get nude in front of others.

as a young guy, i can tell you its not cuz we are shy(er). its more of a courtesy thing. it makes a lot of people uncomfortable to see other guys naked. for instance i find it wierd and unsettling when i see 70 year old full nude in the locker room just sitting on the bench doing nothing. its a locker room, you go in, change, and get out.
now if it were some sort of fantasy gym where everyone has a giant orgy in the locker room as a post-workout cardio, that would be different. in that case clothes would only get in the way. and if you are there, you are there because not only are you not made uncomfortable by naked men, you enjoy it.

As a 40-year ol with a home gym I don't really deal with change rooms that often. To me the whole point is if you are going from workout gear to street clothes then you are going to pass through the state of being naked. If showering, again, the whole naked thing is appropriate in the context. I actually find it strange when people are made uncomfortable by that. Actually silly. And when people wear shorts in the shower or awkwardly and desperately hide themselves behind a towel either because they are ridiculously shy or because they want to spare other people from accidentally seeing a penis then I find that really silly too. I picture someone shaving while trying to hide their head under a towel so no one has to look at his stubble. Oh no! Stubble!!!

I guess I don't need clothes to be comfortable when I'm actually doing something that requires being naked by definition. And I don't need other people to have clothes either. If I see an old guy changing I just close my eyes, point, and scream at the top of my lungs "Aaaaagggggghhhh! Old Man Balls!!!!!" and then I'm just fine.

It was not uncommon for boys to sport woody in locker room/shower.

Nudity is R rated now. It is shown as shameful. So, guys hide.

The older generation cared less for nudity in showers and changing rooms than the current generation of hotties. My school had gang showers in the gym, one room, several shower heads and it was not a big deal. Yes most high school age guys would get at least semi hard if not a full blown erection. That is just what happens. The toilets were in a line against the wall with no dividers, urinal was a long trough. No big deal. The military was the same way, gang showers for 30 or so guys and toilets with no divider. I think the young guys today who work out so hard to have great bodies and think they are so tough are really shy little wimps, afraid someone will see their weenie.

No. I was trying to answer the question of why young guys feel ashamed of showering around guys.

I would like to have a dollar for every time I popped a boner in the shower in high school. ALL the kids got one now and then!! No big deal.......boys will be boys.

We had LOTS and LOTS of semi - but not many full on erections in my gym classes. I think between fear and no one washing below the waist it kept you from total embarrassment. And you can always face the wall and turn the water colder!
