Apparently he had decided to be gone by the end of this year.

His will be a difficult replacement.

He's a good man. Some are speculating he's doing it before the Senate goes totally moron gop---to avoid an insane confirmation hearing that would most certainly be carried out by these thugs.

He is a good man, just not a very good Attorney General. Inextricably linked to Wall Street.

Bad news... his successor won't be any better.

He has been one of the most political attorneys general in history. Probably running to avoid impeachment after the Republicans take the Senate and keep the House. Good riddance.

That's what I like about you, Ben...always having something good to say. :)

He's decided to devote more of his time to helping immigrants cross the border to create new Democratic voters.

Quoted for truth. And he's taking Obama's fake birth certificate with him.

He has already been doing that, and working to prevent the invaders being asked for IDs to vote.

If you are gay--he's done more for advancing gay rights and marriage then most---

wooow zinger. i hope they make two term attorney general and two term governor Chris Gregoire the new ag. it took millions in trial lawyer money and three recounts to keep the governors office out of the greedy craven GOP's hands here in Wa.

Like Obama has been object of hate and intolerance by the so called moral family value Tea Baggers of the GOP.

Good. Maybe we can get someone who isn't beholden to big financial interests and respects the Constitution enough to not stand for forcing gun stores to sell to the Mexican cartels.
