Guys... I seriously need your help! #-o

As the owner of a printing business, I currently face a problem. To cut a long story short, I have just received an order from a customer for photo printing. Normally this would make me very happy as I have a customer to print for.

But... this order is complicated, even for me. Don't get me wrong, I know business laws, and general law but I could do with some advice.

The order which the customer placed was for x-rated photos to be printed (around 24 in all). The photos were of the customer, and I presume his partner having sex on a bed (how they took the photos is beyond me!! LOL). In my heart, being a gay male myself, I have no problem fulfilling this order but would like some advice on this issue, please?

I wish I could place the photos on here to show you, but can't due to customer privacy... :(

If you own the business and it's not against the law to print them, then what's the problem? You don't seem to have a problem with it....

Thanks for your reply, Cliffdweller.

You're right about me personally not having a problem with it. Having taken a look through the photos, I feel happy that all is above-board with them.

I've decided to bite the bullet to go ahead and print them out. After all... they're just photos! lol. Guess I was a bit worried about the legal side of things.... but need not have worried. A contact I know here in the UK works in Law (yup.. he's gay) and has said they can be legally printed.

Looks like this issue is sorted... quicker than I could pull my boxers off!!

Thanks again ;)

From what I've gathered (after chatting to them...) it turns out they are both in their 20's... and yup, the photos sure were hot! :sex:

If I must make a confession... I blew my load whilst printing them. Well... someone has to check the print quality ;)

There was a time in my younger years when I wanted to work at one of those "1 Hour Photo" places JUST to see the nudes people brought in to be developed.

Did you save copies for yourself??? :) (for legal reasons of course).

As long as you don't have a policy against it and there is no underage person in the photos you should just do it.

As long as it's legal to do, it is almost always legal to photograph. Particularly for their own private reminiscence.

It would have been courteous of them to mention the content to you before they placed the order. But I'm glad it worked out.

I see only one problem: you not developing them because it would be against your puritanistic "ethics" or against the hypocritical "ethics" of your neighbours.

And I may hope you blew tons of cum over them.

The only dilema you should have is if the images show a crime being committed, and you have to decide whether to notify the authorities. Porn images should not be an issue to you - providing there are no minors. Although the UK age of consent is 16, it is still illegal to create sexual images of under 18s.

 How does a person own a print business and not have any kind of policy already in place dealing with this?

Does the administration know what to do when New Orleans gets all pissed over?

Sorry I could not reply earlier guys, was out on a delivery.

Some great replies here... many thanks to you all for entering the discussion. To answer a few questions:

Yes... I kept the photos on my system *|* naughty me! lol

Of all the 24 photos, there were only two persons contained within. Both over the age of 18, thankfully. I'll be amending my company policy on my website this evening. Seems I had forgotten to add the clause (dont worry guys, will kick myself later ;) )

As for shooting my load... *|* guilty as charged !oops!

Quasar, thanks for your input on this subject too... your reply was helpful too. I made the decision earlier to go ahead and print them. Had a shock earlier on just before I logged into this website... there was an email waiting for me. I had confessed to the guys that I loved their photos (ooops!) and they sent me a copy of one. I printed it out, and it's now hanging on my wall! LOL.

Before you ask.. no.. it's not going on a t-shirt!!

Travisevian.. love your reply  Photo art, eh? hmm... you could be onto something there. I'm currently working on a photo of myself (naked) which looks like a pencil drawn type thingy.. (ok, I could not think of a suitable word there! LOL)

Travisevian: great to hear from you again. Sadly, I'm not a member of any singing
groups, or any Choir.. but I do attend a lot of karaoke shows. I also have my own studio at home... ok, it's only a server system with a broadcast recording package (I do internet radio too!) but it works for me! :D

I'm not sure, to be honest... but if they were to be Christmas cards, they would be HOT ones! ;)

Wow....Not gonna lie, those people are bold. I would never take pictures like that to have them developed at a store. lol. Can't really think of why they would need them developed either... Unless they need them for cards like the other guys said

I'm curious as to whether they 'came" to you - because they knew you were 'family'?

and I too remain curious - just how many copies of 24 pics did they order?

if they printed them once - to give you prints to copy (or did they give you a digital file?) then they could have just made more of the same, no?

and maybe they have seen you - and wanted you to see them..........oh, the suspense.......

FETABY - quit pissing on New Orleans, woodya?
