Ethnicity and body hair

Neither did you so WTF are you accusing me of?

Probably because I don't consider a small number of English language fashion mags proof of absolutely anything whatsoever. Taste and fashion are all transient, subjective things that vary not just by individual but over time--- regardless of what some industry leaders or designers or publicists all get together this year and decide is "today's look." 90% of what's in one one year will be made fun of hilariously a decade later.

Fashion is a business built on image and changing tastes and trends and fads of the moment. It is not a science and it's not based on fact.

I'm merely showing you how stupid your argument was.

Hmmm, scratching the bottom of the barrel are we? I don't see any leading fashion covers here.

Like always, your level of knowledge/intelligence is limited to putting big words on the internet.

Daniel Henney is the premiere hearthrob of South Korea. Why else would he be in a film titled Mr Perfect?

Gautam Rode stars in the biggest series in India, produced by one of the best film directors in the country and just did a tour of the UK.

Rob Evans along with David Abodgi and Nate Gill (one of my favourites) is one of the top male models of today. See their rankings on models.com.

More actual facts from me. The internet warrior - none.

So wait--- do we now posit as "factual proof" of perfect appearance someone's appearance in a movie entitled "Mr. Perfect"?

Are you being serious? LOL

I don't need a lecture on fashion from someone who didn't even know Uomini existed. Plus that's no excuse for suggesting I'm a racist!

Nice to see you as always avoiding all other facts and twisting the words of your choice.

What I said is that your incredibly poor argument defending that smooth appearance is "in fact" more beautiful and recognized as such by the majority of humans of all time periods -- could just as easily be an argument that whites are "in fact" more beautiful, since all evidence you provided were of white people until this page of the thread, and whites are just as overrepresented in the commercially created beauty standard which is depicted in advertisements, catalogs, magazines and movies as "smooth guys are."

By your own logic, if they were worthy of being considered beautiful why did Michaelangelo not make a black athlete, after all? Why don't non-whites dominate magazine covers and fashion and photo shoots? Why are non whites not the majority of highly paid models?

I'm only using your own argument. See a problem yet?

You sure can dish out accusations but can't take em, eh?

What you meant to say is as soon as bankside suggested you the idea followed by MoufOfKhaos (as always) you jumped on the first chance to attack me like the internet warrior that you are and call me a racist. Since you have no actual facts to back you up, that's what you have to resort to.

Anyway I'm done with you.

I accept your concession.

Weren't you about to leave this site?
You changed my mind.

Why is that a shock? It's par for the course, really.
Oh, I'm not sure I reached the level of shock. It just did seem strange to me that if hairlessness were the criteria, you might go with someone other than the typically hairy people of caucasoid ancestry.

You don't take defeat very graciously. So, are we onto phase 2 now, white people are factually more attractive, just look at the statues and fashion magazines?

Strictly speaking, not all white. There was a brown guy back a few pages. Caucasian nonetheless.

My fella is Italian but he is smooth. I found one hair on his back and was going to yank it, but he begged me not to. Said he'll frame it when it falls out on it's own. #-o

:=D: WOW

I've had an epiphany! Turns out you are right about everything. Being hairy is everything that's noble in this world and I'm the arch villain in all this out to shave everyone.

From now on David is not the standard of male beauty, Phillip is. The sex symbol status of St Sebastian, Rudolph Valentino, Salman Khan and other clean shaven men throughout history did not ever exist and neither do hairless models.

You're so smart you can change actual facts to suit your own personal preference and ego in you little corner of the Internet (ww)

Hallucinating much? No where did buzzer mention that "hairy is everything." You have been the one that is trying to peddle "smooth is everything" in this universe and how it's better and more well-liked.

He'd be much cuter if his ears were pointed and his complexion just a faint touch of green.

Facts related to what? Natural hairlessness?

I think your argument amounts to, "I think these guys are hot, so I'm right".

I don't see the word "fashion" in the thread title, so all your "facts" are irrelevant.

I haven't read this whole thread so don't know where the topic has headed, but if you all still discussing body hair, I've read an interesting thing about gay men in the Caucasus/Kavkaz regions. Young men there apparently dream of being hairy as that signifies class status of a macho, masculine guy. Hairless men are somewhat frowned on or belittled to some degree. And in the gay scenes hairy guys assume "masculine" roles of "tops" while smooth guys assume roles of bottoms or sometimes play roles where they cross-dress in women's clothing. Of course this is not strict across the board etc . .

I gotta say, I'm loving the pics of the hairy JUBbers. That's pretty much the only redeeming quality this thread has.

Carey, I agreed with you just like in my second post that hairless models dominating masculine beauty globally. If my taste is strictly smooth- I would go banana just like you since I have your (more refined) trait. ^^
However, fortunately Im not and I just realize I have TONS of hairy guys in my picture folder :lol2: so I dont understand if you think hair-lovers would be the minority in this whole thing?

And not only that, Did you heard that "beards are back?" I heard that article few days ago from gay.com about a recent facial-body hair fads start taking over media in both "straight" and "gay" man? It's on trend!! ^^
And..and..how about this?

I just went to fab.com looking for shirt and I found this:

^ If you were there on the scene, I bet you wanna shave him off completely
