The fact of the matter is most guys here like hairy men and there is nothing wrong with that but it does not take away the fact that clean shaven men have been the standard of beauty which some here are in denial of.

It seems like you can be vain about your body, take naked selfies and unashamedly ask for compliments as long as you're hairy or unconventional looking. If a waxed tanned muscular guy did that he'd probably be called a twat or mimbo/zoolander.
