Like all Eurovision contests the songs are horrible, period. But Dima is hot and if you guys know a little about him, he is GAY and he can't even hide it. The way he talks, sings, acts, he is screaming "I'm gay." Ask any Russian person and he will tell you this dude is gay with no doubt.

And yet he is dating Elena Kuletskaya...How does he work that one out, I wonder?

And actually this year alot of the songs were quite nice, including Dima's which deserved to win.

I loved Serbia's entry, Israel's, Azerbaijan's, Iceland's, Portugal's and a few others that I cannot remember now...

I can assure you that the week the song won, I was in Paris and heard it played several times on the radio and in different cafés.

Lots of people think it is a good song. You are entitled to your opinion, but you are in the minority.

Again...that is you. You are not the arbiter of all that is good in music.

And you are right, not many winner songs are famous outside of their own countries, but that is to be expected. The contests are nationalistic in their makeup. People are obviously going to prefer their own songs. (Except me - I hated both the Swiss and French songs.)

I listen to it all the time. Too much of anything will get you sick, so you are not wrong there.

But I still can listen to it several times in a day. The trouble is that I replayed the song so much the week of the contest that I may have overdone it somewhat...I still love it though.
