Like all Eurovision contests the songs are horrible, period. But Dima is hot and if you guys know a little about him, he is GAY and he can't even hide it. The way he talks, sings, acts, he is screaming "I'm gay." Ask any Russian person and he will tell you this dude is gay with no doubt.
^ No i don't like the song. (listened once, twice is too many)
It bored me really quickly.
Oh well - to each his own, I guess. I loved the song and was thrilled when he won. Apparently a great many people in Europe agreed with me.
trust me, i know what a good song sounds like. I can garantee you that this song will NOT be famous.
And yet...having won the ESC 2008. it already IS famous...Go figure.
I can assure you that the week the song won, I was in Paris and heard it played several times on the radio and in different cafés.
Lots of people think it is a good song. You are entitled to your opinion, but you are in the minority.
how many ESC winner songs are famous (world wide and not just local.) ?
only very few a think.
*a good song means you can listen to it many times without getting sick of it.
but this song i listened to it once and already sick of it.
Again...that is you. You are not the arbiter of all that is good in music.
And you are right, not many winner songs are famous outside of their own countries, but that is to be expected. The contests are nationalistic in their makeup. People are obviously going to prefer their own songs. (Except me - I hated both the Swiss and French songs.)
to be honest, can you listen to this song many times ?
i don't think so, it will drive you mad.
listen to it over 10 times and let me know whether you still like to listen to the song or not.
