Stranded motorists!

And the Electrify America network fell apart during the holiday storms across North America.

For the first time we received a notification from PSEG to conserve electricity for a 48 hour period. Just in time for Christmas.

Since December 21st, it's been one storm system after another across the Pacific Northwest. Power outages everywhere.
These are not the conditions for extended travel via EV if you need to recharge away from home.
The recharge network, except for Tesla, needs to be beefed up - or prepare for living at a hotel for the holidays.

Must be the type of station.

Haven't heard a peep of complaint here and it is fucking cold.

Also backed up by battery storage.

Btw. Ever tried pumping gas when the power is out?

Yep, it's clear to me that weather is a factor no matter what type of vehicle you drive.
Even to best of plans can change when the weather does.

EV owners planning a long trip, please take note of all motels/hotels along your route!

Happy Holidays - Kyle and Alyssa have spend more time at EV charging stations than at home by the Christmas tree.

Winter weather can hobble any vehicle, there's nothing special about electric cars. Plan Accordingly!

/\ That's not a problem with technology, that's a problem with the rider's inability to do the math, or trying to be a clever freeloader.
