I do not think Ron Paul is popular because of his positions, while they may be interesting.

He is popular because he actually tells people the truth about our corrupt corporate owned government and people respond.

He's also popular because he insists that the Constitution has to be applied up front, when making law in Congress, rather than just passing laws and letting the courts sort it out -- a process which has given us a government that really has nothing to do with what the Constitution prescribes. People know that our politicians are walking all over the Constitution, and thrill to hear someone in Congress not only saying so, but demanding of every bill that its authorization in the Constitution be made plain.
