  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Ever been unfriended/blocked on Facebook for being gay, liberal, or Democrat?

Yes, I've been unfriended by female co-workers and then I notice they also deleted all the other male co-workers that we had as mutual friends, and also been randomly unfriended by people that I thought I was cool with and never understood why but we were never close enough for me to be too bothered by.

I also went on an unfriending filter where I basically removed certain people who's posts were annoying or we just were never really that close. My friend list is at around 250 people.

I usually newsfeed hide an annoying person before unfriending them i have people on my friendlist who i love to death but they post nothing but memes and love quotes and its annoying. I had to unfriend a guy that supported Bernie Sanders nothing wrong with supporting him but he kept trying to shove him down my throat. When i disagreed with him he got crazy mad so we stopped talking over that.

Why would I want to waste time on FlakeBook?

Unlike an online forum open to everyone, you can control who you assemble together for conversations on Facebook.

Since the premise of Facebook is to connect with people you choose to normally associate with...where do all these flakes come from again?

No, Flakebook controls it -- they just let users have a facade of control.

And since I normally associate with the people with whom I normally associate, then Flakebook is -- as were its predecessors -- a waste of time.
