Yes, unfortunately I have faked enjoying sex on more than one occasion. The moments were not horrible just not desirable or satisfactory. I see faking as pointless. If you "fake it", the dude will think he has awesome technique and will continue to disappoint in the bedroom. However, if you tell the dude (in a nice, constructive manner) what needs work and show him how it's done, then the sex will be much better for the both of you.
 
I actually have never had to fake anything... yet.

I've had some awkward situations, for sure, but never faked anything so far.
