It is around noon and I'm feeling kinda drowsy. Then I realized I forgot to drink coffee this morning! What the... I've been drinking my cup of coffee every morning all my adult life. It's become an integral part of my morning routine.

Have you ever forgotten to do something that is integral of your every-day routine?

You'd think your headache would have slapped you hard. Most coffee addicts can tell looooooong before noon when the fix is not satisfied.

I have a morning routine, sans coffee. If I break it, I can easily forget things, like taking my phone off the bedside table, or taking my meds.

Mind my own business. Now I have to apologize again on Monday because I was an idiot and also wrong.

Sure, I started getting a headache. But I was running around so I just dismissed it until I started feeling drowsy and cranky.

I take my daily prescriptions so automatically that later I sometimes wonder if I did take them or not because I can't remember.

Closing the garage in the morning. Sometimes, I have found myself wondering if I closed the garage or not while on my way to work. I sometimes turned around just to check to see if the garage was closed.

A musical alarm might be of assistance? There's some lovely melodies these days.
I can only sleep with headphones on. Usually I drift into the land of slumber listening to Atmospheric Black Metal, Wagner, or, occasionally, the sound of rainstorms.

Maybe I should create a playlist with a totally different style of music to awaken me from my unconscious state? I like most genres of music, so it would would probably have to be something truly awful to rouse me. Maybe something sung by an utterly talentless, auto-tuned, X-factor winner might just do the trick? :D

This may or may not be slightly embarrassing but I've never actually seen the x-factor. Heard of it but never tuned in to the program; from that description I should be patting myself on the back for making such a wise decision. That bad, hm, try new country, that seems to lack.

sometimes i forget to shave, other times i'm just too lazy

eh, it's not like the manager gives af when i have a full beard

I've trained myself to back out and wait for the garage to close. There is too high a likelihood it could malfunction and reopen. Once you start that pattern, you don't forget.
