Ever googled your JUB username to see what comes up?

So only MoufOfKhaos has stumbled on a forgotten treasure?? The rest of you mix up your usernames according to site i take it? I pretty much use mitchymo everywhere i go lol

To my credit - or derision - I do have 3 or 4 usernames, and only used this one and my most "famous" one... and didn't put justusboys behind it(kinda defeats the purpose of this exercise).

My second username pulls up exactly what I thought it'd pull up - song lyrics. Can't remember my third, unless this IS my third.

I Googled my JUB username in 2009 and that's why I changed my username from JDsmagik to Adrock-JD. Because I use that name at sites like Twitter and Facebook along with non-porn message boards and such. I actually deleted my account and signed up again. In the panic, I forgot that all I had to do was contact a mod and ask for a username change.

Now, I'm more mellow and don't give a hoot.

My current JUB username mostly comes up with my YouTube account and then pages of Adrock of Beastie Boys fame.

The former JDsmagik username is finally clear of porn links. Now that I don't care.

I've used the same screen name, Everywhere, and forever also. But I do exclude using my real given name, and I have a separate e-mail for work. I have a pretty good idea what people will find if they Google me - and it's still only what I want to be found, or don't care about them finding.

I usually check this sort of thing first, but I didn't this time, not until last year. I made the name from the fictional characters I write about and didn't think about others having it. Without using the name of this site in the search, I get the name of a catering company on the East coast and a photography studio on the West coast that specializes in intimate photos of women, which was a pleasant find for me.

without "just us boys" or "jub" the first thing of mine doesnt come up until the 3rd page. with either handle attached its the first on the list... followed by my profile on xtube...

Two of my first three Google results were from JUB - comments I'd made about porn in June 2012 and Feb. 2013.

#6 was a comment I'd made on Queerty this year about New Jersey's ban on conversion therapy for minors.

#4 ...oh my GAWD!...was about Thads, a sleasy straight swingers club in San Diego. For the record - I'VE NEVER BEEN TO SAN DIEGO!
(There, I feel better about that.)

And the rest of the top 10? All about the LP The Magnificent Thad Jones by jazz trumpeter Thad Jones. It's on Blue Note records...catalog number BLP 1527.

This pales in comparison to what I got when I Googled my name. There's a high school football player at Kathleen High School in Florida who shares my name. I have no relatives that I know of in that part of Florida...but it's an uncommon name and we MUST be related somehow!

I have found that the Google search engine is inconsistent; it gives different results on different days.

I do know that if I google my real name I get directed straight away to an Italian porn star.

So I think most people would stop there and search no further.
