Ever hate people

Any one else ever hate people in general, not a specific person and not for any reason. But sometimes I get angry at humanity in general and have wondered if anyone ever feels the same way. So am I a complete weirdo or do other feel the same at times.

PS, If anyone does feel the same way feel free to hijack this thread in order to vent.
 
I get frustrated with humanity and feel antisocial quite often, but I try not to hate.
 
Because I am a customer service rep, I deal with complaints so often about shit that can't be helped and so much more. THAT makes me hate people, since so many people think the world revolves around them.

And at my store, little kids can be so bratty, that makes me hate children.

Overall though, I suppose some people aren't bad and that gives me faith in the world.
 
While I don't like the term "Hate" ... there are many times that I have an extreme "Dislike" for people in general ...
Like; it took me two years and $20,00 to get my mothers house from her estate ; then I may not be able to afford to keep it ....
Like when I am so alone and I know that others are out having a picnic or some other type of good time ....
... and there are more ... BUT they are issues that I have to face, accept, and deal with ....

there are some individuals who i prefer to avoid because i dont like their behavior, though

skunks are cute... its thier smell that i deteste ;)
 
Yes in dealing with the public, there are stupid people all around, and it makes it most difficult not to loose your cool with them, but HATE, no I hate their stupidity, but not them as a person.
 
Every day at work... I'm suprized I haven't slipped and made some really nasty comments aloud to people yet.
 
Do I have the capacity to hate? I am sure I do but as yet, it is an emotion I have yet to experience. Sure I dislike some people, a dislike that sometimes extends to abhorrence, e.g. Mugabe, but hatred no. I have enough emotions to cope with with burdening myself with hate. The people I encounter who are perhaps worthy of hate are usually dickheads of the highest order and not worthy of emotional expenditure.
 
yeh i can...but its more jealousy of other people seeming happy and getting on with their lives compared to me. irrational fears i know, but it makes me antisocial and annoyed with humanity.
 
hate is an additive drug and as about useful

I try to refuse to stay in a state of hate, though Fox news and politics seem to drive me there

this is similar to the thread on whether it is morally correct to "wish someone dead"

hate is an activity that hurts the user more than the intended victim

I'm not sure what you mean by "not for any reason." How could I hate someone without reason? First of all, I would not normally use the word hate.

I'm disappointed by people/humanity when it comes to:
- respecting nature (the environment), not enough is being done
- the need basic health care for everyone
- the way so man people in the US drive these huge SUV's with only one person in them. I personally think that these people look ridiculous.
- the way society as of late seem to admire people that are obnoxious (products, especially automobiles, are being designed specifically for these people)
- the way corporations have manipulated the power of the US government
- using greed as justifcation for harming others/environment
- the way religion is used to manipulate people and that people fall for it.
- I'm disappointed when people do not support equal civil rights for all people.


Here are somethings that I hate:
- I hate the way the government plays on peoples irrational fears in order to get their support
-I hate that we are giving tax cuts for the wealthy at the same time that the federal debts are sky rocketing. It does not make any sense.
-I hate the way so many of the children that come from poor families are not encouraged to go to college.
-I hate that we allowed corporations and the government to have so much influence in our media. The media should be independent of corporations and the government. It will not be accurate or useful again unless we are able to offer this. Our system does not work well without a public that knows what is actually going on rather than the spin that is constantly fed to people.

I do agree that I hate to see people/animals/the environment being harmed.

But I hate the word 'evil.' The Christians have over used it and abused it. And the politicians use it to manipulate people into supporting them. I try not to use that word. I'm not into things being either good or evil. There are a lot of shades of grey in there and most things in life are not that simple.
 
People who go around spouting nothing but hate and negative thoughts are at the top of my hate list. Not that I have an actual list because then I would have to hate myself for being so hateful towards the other hatefuls in the world and I quite like me.

People SUCK, period. Honestly, I wouldn't mind living on a deserted island!
 
There are plenty of people I don't know who I hate. GW Bush, Dick Cheney, Karl Rove, Newt Gingrich, Jerry Falwell, and most any other right wing republican politician currently alive.
