Ever have this happen in a straight sauna?

Sure, a few times. It's funny, I'm pretty unremarkable looking, yet, some guys just really, really like hand jobs. Hope it happens again soon...
 
i dont know how str8 it was, but i've had some very fun times in saunas.....things tend to get long in the heat.....
 
During a trip to Ecuador a 45 or so old man, got up and played with himself looking at me. Also in Germany, a man kept checking me out in the sauna but there were other people there and nothing happened.

I would never go naked in a sauna..MRSA isn't cute or fun!
 
at my gym i dont hide the fact that im gay. its funny that some guys seem to avoid me in the gym, but then in the sauna they sit near me and start talking. if theyre hot ill do a bit of subtle flirting and check them out. got a few propositions but id never do anything in a gym sauna. but that doesn't mean i didnt let a couple of them take me home after a work out, and bang me!;)
 
i have done that many times in a sauna/steam room/shower at a gym.. Most of the time it is just boring. Guys are usually to afraid to get caught. Rightfully so since most of the time there s a lot of foot traffic. One time in a spa in Las Vegas I hit it with a guy in the showers. Good grief that was hot. We explored every inch of each other and that is no lie lol I don't have any good ones in my area..

The heat should kill it off. Far as I know, Staph aureus is not a thermophile.

Also, gee, a little OTT, there. You could pick up infections from zillions of places. Unless you live in a plastic bubble which gets decontaminated regularly, I'd guess a sauna is no less unhealthy than breathing in an elevator (or just breathing in all the fumes and smog outside in most major cities, for that matter).

Tell that to my friend who was hospitalized as a result of catching MRSA in the 24hr fitness sauna.

Well, hopefully it's pretty rare. I've never heard of that before. Athlete's foot, certainly, but nothing worse than that.

you can get MRSA bacteria pretty much anywhere. Hell, 10% of the population walking around on the street has it.

The trick is not to have it get into an open wound or cavity. Usually if the infection hasn't really picked up yet the body's natural defenses can kill it off as well since the body doesn't rely on agents such as vanco or metha to destroy bacteria.


Its if you are in some way immuno-compromised and it gets into an open wound (eg a diabetic ulcer) or if your body is unable to fight it off that you really have to worry.
 
Dry sauna is much cleaner and safer than the outside world is it not ?
If you have an open wound, you shouldn't go to the sauna anyway because of the heat and moisture.

This is why you always, always, always sit on a clean towel when you go into a steamroom or sauna, or sit on anything in a local gym. Even the benches in the locker rooms, or on the edge of the pool or jacuzzi spa.

Never let your bare ass touch those surfaces... And, as telstra suggested, if you have any wounds stay home.
 
I live in L.A. and there were two gyms that I could be called gay gyms..one closed. One gym was men only, one was coed. I've been a member in both and yeah, stuff happened all the time, mostly in the steam room.
As opposed to that, I was a trainer at a gym in NYC and it was definitely a straight coed gym. After teaching an aerobics class we were given a half hour to shower, clean up and rest. I'd go in the sauna all the time. Only once did anything happen and that was with a guy that I'm pretty sure was gay. So no, I haven't really had sex with a straight guy in a gym sauna. Out of the gym lots of times however.
 
at the west side club in the city but thats to be expected. only other time was when i was like 12 or 13 and me and my friend brendon would go into the sauna at the country club in our tighty whities, then once our undies were see thru from being so wet we would fuck.
 
What is funny is that sometimes I will be carrying on with a hot guy in the sauna and getting close, but.... The heat drives me away I just cannot take it anymore.
 
This is a great thread. This has not happened to me, but I certainly would like it to. The gym I go to is in the men's shower room and most men go nude. Next time maybe if I were hard someone will pick up on it.
