Happy New Year. At this rate, they better be good! You didn't say what your picture viewing program is, but you could use Paint in windows to open each picture. Select Image - Attributes and change the pixels to 700 wide by 700 high. We're waiting with bated breath.

First, try dropping the resolution to 88, or 80, and see what that does to your pixel dimensions. Then, if they're still too big, change the biggest dimension to 800 (the smaller dimension should follow, in proportion, on it's own). A good dimension for web viewing is, roughly, 800x600, which will also work.

The important thing is not the physical dimensions as much as it is the overall "information size" of the file. I think 200kb is the max allowed.

Shortest way (hope you have Microsoft Outlook):
Select all the pictures together-->left mouse click on them-->send to-->mail recipient.
it will open a new mail and will ask you if you want to reduce the pictures size. say Yes, and than drag the attached pictures from the new mail message to where ever you want.

your method is the only one I got to work.
 
Well, It's a good old working one...
After working in a customer service of a cellular company for 4.5 years, helping annoying people sending their photos from the PC to their mobile, you must find a practical way for doing that :)
