stacy - dahling - my friend had similar stress headaches - she ended up with a Chinese Accupunture/Herbalist -- and SHZAMMM -- they were gone in just a few weeks -- taking some "specal pills' and drinking some "special" teas - and the accupunture - i think its worth looking into _
There is way too much stress in the world -- I hope some of yours goes away very soon and that you feel better !

You have a good doctor. That's a tricyclic antidepressant. They have a desired side effect of somnolence which is why they can be prescribed to help you sleep. Like all antidepressants you could have a discontinuation syndrome, but not withdrawal symptoms like you would with other anxiolytics (benzos, z drugs).
It should help you sleep.
