[Note: I am closing most threads related to the JUB April fool's day madness and linking to this one. It was part of the havoc to have 20 different threads about it yesterday, let's just keep it here today. ]

And yes, it was fuchsia :) (or magenta but fuchsia is the HTML color code). All april fool's day changes have been reverted and as I am typing those lines, the JUB servers are processing all the usernames to remove the "advertising space".

The most obvious change of course were the "pink" usernames, and it seems that confusion about it lasted til the very end :). I saw much speculation about who became pink and who not and why. But the answer is really simple .. JUB Supporters became pink (and bold), everyone with less than 1000 posts also became pink. Why the difference? To cause more confusion of course :) By the way: mecca- figured it out.

Some changes were less noticed. Partly because it only worked in the Internet Explorer - I was hoping for some funny threads like "they are upside down" "no they are not". But it seems not many people are paying attention to the thumbnails. Or using IE (good for you!) :)

No moderator was banned or harmed. I still like Abs and tallguy although they deserved that spanking for sure :) No it was all part of our elaborate plan, and at least for a moment we had a few of you worried. Some said it was a bit extreme dramatic? Well we learnt from the best - you :p. Oh .. and actually none of them was banned. It just appeared this way, and they were reading it all and pissing their pants laughing in mod towers.

The word changes - you figured almost all of them out in the list thread. Here they are again:

barack -> bareback
beyonce -> boyjuice
daddies -> twinks
daddy -> twinkie
jonas -> kelly
liberal -> conservative
obama -> bush
republican -> democrat
smooth -> hairy
zac efron -> britney spears

To add more confusion they were switched on and off a few times. And of course I innocently bumped a few threads in the Celebs forum.
It was quite some fun to watch the CE&P guys first scratching their heads and then calling their president "Barrie O" to avoid the changing :rotflmao:. All this happened automagically of course, and it included usernames and everything else. All words are back to their normal selves now. Unless you edited your post trying to fix this, then the changed word still might appear.

The clown avatars were not our doing, although a few mods started it some time before and during the night it somehow became a great self-selling item!

I hope you all had as much fun as we did - from what I have seen except a few people from the Daddies forum everybody did :)

Re: Everything is fine. Nothing is pink. All blue.

It was alot of fun. Thank you.

Re: Everything is fine. Nothing is pink. All blue.

i knew it.
Pink colour doesn't match the web pages and they looked rather messy.

Re: Everything is fine. Nothing is pink. All blue.

And an addendum - it was said that pink was a bad color because gays were forced to wear a pink triangle ("rosa winkel") under the nazi regime. The later is of course true, but somehow you must have missed the fact that afterwards pink became a gay pride color. While it is of course good to be aware where it came from, it today usually isn't meant to be associated with concentration camps.

Now that the pink is gone, I rather miss it... I want my pink back!!! :cry:

By the way, I am totally kidding.

Transpogue will be sad.

She really, really, really wanted to remain Pink.

I was under the impression she was, um, er, arranging something.

I recall she even offered CASH.

Ye thats true. Doesnt mean you have to like it tho.

Of course not. That was the point of it. Rainbow colors would have been just a bit too complicated :)

I thought it was a lot of fun. My hat's off to you, Corny. For implementing the changes and putting up with all the mayhem that ensued. ..|

Wow.

Barack to "bareback"

LOLZ

I wasn't on for long. All I saw was the daddy change things and the pink names. Anyways. Interesting and good job I suppose.
