I dropped my laptop a few seconds ago. Now everything is upside down. Is there a simple way to fix this?

ctrl+alt and the arrow direction should fix it. If not, go to the control panel graphics driver.

If it's just a glitch, you should be able to go into your monitor/graphics adapter properties and change the orientation of the screen.

that's one of my fav pranks to play on colleagues, family etc :)

Is there any reason why someone would need to see their screen upside down or sideways? I don't understand why this is an option.

My fav was to replace the mouse ball with a malted-milk ball. The mouse would work, but not well and not all the time. The best part was when the person figured it out, he got a treat. Everyone wins.

Oh, and cross-mapping keys is fun, too.

There are times I'll rotate my right-most screen 90deg. to view a page or block of code vertically and I'll adjust the monitor settings accordingly.

for presentation purposes, screens are often built into something and not "upright".

Makes sense.

I was only thinking about laptops with the screen and keyboard connected. I forgot about regular PCs. I have not used one in years.!oops!
