Some of you may have noticed i haven't been posting as much as usual in the last few days, i've been engaged in a series of Zoom meeting with representatives of my potential new employer in Buenos Aires Argentina.

In January i've to present myself in front of my future employer for a face to face interview in Buenos Aires, Covid restrictions allowing of course, i'm being hired to curate his private art collection and library, the money on offer is amazing but i know next to nothing about Argentina apart from The Falkland War, and the dictators.

Have any of you ever been to Argentina, can you share some of your experiences of your time there.

This is my second adventure onto the world stage after my disastrous time working for a Texas oil tycoon.

All advise will be very much welcomed.

Buy travel insurance because I don't think you're going anywhere :p

Never been to Argentina, but when I was in Aruba I was at a steakhouse that served Argentina beef...probably the best steak I've ever had. And, I love their Malbec!

just make sure that you keep one hand on your travel documents at all times...

I know a great Cuban guy - he left Cuba in pursuit of Florida via Argentina - he wound trapped there for 3 years before he could get out - after which he got stuck in Mexico for over a year - and then again stuck in Texas for over 9 months - all in all it took him nearly 5 years for the 90 mile trek from Cuba to Florida - a year ago we got to celebrate his US citizenship - it was an emotional and uplifting celebration - gratitude all around...

Never been, but the Argentine guys (pibes) I've met in LA have been hot. Big cocks, too.

Perhaps you will end like this......we'll all make sure you are preserved for eternity.

Yes Pornhub has convinced me the cocks on offer will be equal to the Brazilians.

Can you imagine, i bet plenty of weirdos payed a hefty price for a ride on that corpse. :gogirl:

He's one of the gutsiest gay porn actors I've ever seen. He went from being a TV celebrity, a model, and married in Argentina, to being out and divorced and gay, and entered gay porn AFTER he was already a success.

A lot of people in gay porn say they are out an proud, but they weren't anyone before porn.

He walked into it and didn't blink.

He's escorted all along, which is apparently part and parcel to being in gay porn, and he's not been in denial about his work.

Cheers guys, i was hoping for more info on the country itself not nonsense about some ropey bit of trade porn star/escort. #-o

I was in Buenos Aires in 2014 with former JUB member NineOfClubs, and I'll say that, at least the parts of the metropolis that we saw, it looks like and feels like a vibrant and modern city. I understand there are some expansive favelas somewhere, which we didn't see. Getting around much of the city is SUPER-easy. At one of the central spots in the city, we saw 30 or 31 buses simultaneously, which seem to go everywhere, even on side streets.

We were both surprised, though, about the lack of diversity, at least with restaurants. Don't expect to see Indian food across from Brazilian food, around the corner from Senegalese food, and a block away from Japanese and American food, as you might see in London or Bristol or wherever you are. We did manage to find an Indian restaurant there which was good, but really we saw very few places that weren't Argentine. I'm not even sure if we saw Brazilian places.

Buenos Aires is also very "walkable"...
