Expensive Shit You Bought And Didn't Really Need....

Everything I've ever bought I absolutely needed, including that cashmere sweater that overdrew my account last month.

Well, maybe I didn't need this:

IvoryBall_S.jpg

It's a nine-sphere ivory puzzle ball from China. A little smaller than a baseball. I shelled out $125 for it, maxing out my last operational credit card. I just don't know what came over me.

I know why you bought it;it's beautiful.

probably my logitech mouse and saitek keyboard i basically spent as much money as possible so i could gea wireless mouse but a wired keyboard but i really like them so i dont care

but i also bought about5 games that i dont play

my biggest problem is that i will only buy stuff that i like no matter what the cost but if its to much ill makkedo until i can fford it

A $3,500. antique brass bed...

Then had to pay another $350.00 to have it modified to take queen mattresses.

Like metta I don't really buy something on impulse and thus everything is bought for a reason and subsequently not regretted.

But I do sometimes swallow deeply when I think of how much I have spent on something; ex. my last statue. But then in a few months I have rebuilt the savings accounts back up to their origonal level so in the end I feel justified in spending the fortune.

I do have a wardrobe of clothes and expensive shoes that I hardly ever have the time to wear as I am always working. But it does mean I feel good when I am all dressed up. I often cost more in what I am wearing than the evening out costs me.

I have a full set of Versace china for 6. But as I have stopped entertaining it isn't really essential, I only need one of everything now.

OK! That beats all of us. :D

Now I have to know why on earth you were tempted to buy a dinosaur's fossilised turd. ;)

In 2002 I spent over $10,000.00 on two bicycles, parts for my other bicycles and various bicycling do-dads. Since I took up the hobby I have easily spent $50,000.00. Nothing beats the look, feel and performance of Campagnolo. :)

My turntables and mixer. When I first got them I used them everyday. Now they just sit in a closet collecting dust. I hook them up every now and then when I want to hear a vinyl I have.

Wow...that is a big one. I have quite a a pretty big collection of minerals and fossils that my best friend collected. I have a little dino poop too but nothing that big.

I bought a new truck. In a year I've only put 2,500 miles on it. I use my 200,000 mile beater as a daily driver so as not to rack up the miles on the truck.

Just bought a hooded fleece jacket...a bluish grey color that will look great with my blue eyes...bought it at Abercrombie and Fitch last night....spent WAYYYY too much on it.

I bought a PSP in December of 05 and it is still in the box never even taken it out to look at it. Every time I go shopping I return with at least one pair of designer sunglasses, I have around 150 pairs. Sometimes I have had to buy a duplicate pair of sunglasses that I really liked because I lose them.

Why Women Are Compulsive Shoppers
(author unknown)

There is usually only one reason why a man buys,
but with a woman it might be any one of ten (so they say) -

1 - Because her husband says she can't have it.
2 - Because it will make her look thin.
3 - Because it's on sale.
4 - Because it comes from Paris.
5 - Because her neighbors can't afford it.
6 - Because she can't afford it.
7 - Because nobody has one.
8 - Because everybody has one.
9 - Because it's different.
10 - Because.
