Expensive Shit You Bought And Didn't Really Need....

Two things that I never bought but my parents bought me that I never use and it makes me feel bad:

- Very expensive radio/cd player stereo set from Brookestone (I already have a cd player/radio/alarm clock. Why woudl I need another?)
- Portable DVD player.

i was going to say my ipod ... but surprisingly enough ... i use it more often than not ... lols

I would have suggested my new computer, but it was neither expensive (cheapest model) or unnecessary (the last computer blew up, faulty caps).

My most pointless expenditure was a '77 chrysler new yorker brougham, back then, work was a five minute walk from home. I paid $3K to have it painted and the car was stolen barely 6 months later. (Now I'm an ardent public transit user)

A Macbook Pro. I don't really need one, especially when considering the cost. It arrives tomorrow though.

I don't have much extra money so I usually spend a lot of time thinking about any major purchases. The most expensive, impractical thing I've bought myself was a painting, done by a friend of mine. But I'm glad I bought it.
