Explaining the Narcissistic Rage of the Left

But this one takes credit for things he did not do while refusing to take responsibility for the things he DOES do.

The buck does not stop at his desk. If it's a good thing, he puts it in his pocket. If it's a bad thing, he passes it to someone else, and so far, the 'passed bucks' far out-number the ones he puts in his pocket.

If it's a bad thing you blame him; if good you credit someone else.

Another really good article explaining what's happening in America these days.

Again, I don't understand how Trump supporters (not Conservatives generally) can be such poor winners. Trump won. What concerns him and you is that he failed to win the popular vote. No landslide. No mandate. But that clearly doesn't matter. Then there's claims of voter fraud. From the winner. Targeting voter fraud as three grand juries look into his campaign and family for collusion with the Russians to win him the election. I'm surprised that Trump hasn't tried to make Secretary Clinton out to be a formidable opponent. The way the AltRight goes on about her, anybody could have beaten her. Whoa! There's a perspective. She had done so much damage to herself and her campaign that practically anybody could have beaten her. EVEN a Donald Trump. That said, he is our President. POTUS. Our leader, Commander in Chief, Presider.. There appears to be a misconception that Liberals' negative response to his actions or lack thereof comes from bitterness about the loss of some idealized socialist new world order to enslave heterosexual Christian White Americans to the will of the mongrelized hordes of immigrant ragheads, cocksuckers, spics and niggers (sigh...). But, alas! This is not the case. The negativity to Trump he creates by what he says, and what he does. Listen to our President. That's all you have to do. Now, if you listen carefully to what POTUS says and observe his actions and read his Tweets, and you see nothing even a bit off....let alone, bizarre, random, alarming, scary, dangerous and overall uninformed (to be eumphamistic), then good on ya. Indeed, those who love him and live by his words, see his irresponsible, self-serving streaming blather as a refreshing break from the past. Candor. Telling it like it is. Thinking out of the box. A Man in our corner. A MAN.... after our own hearts. Trump supporters are like sports fans. Loving the home team, win or lose. Basically, cheering and supporting him no matter what. POTUS' narcissism strangles his agenda, cripples his own administration and undercuts his own cabinet members. Nothing has happened. No wall. No health reform. No tax reform. All these are very doable. Even the Wall, for Chrissakes. Instead of focusing on his agenda, this POTUS creates shitstorms of personality by spinning insulting, sophomoric tweets at anyone and everyone he perceives to hold him in a negative light. Rex Tillerson is trying to pull the North Korea mess back, and POTUS tweets he's wasting his time. WTF? This has nothing to do with Clinton. That's whole chapter is closed. This is about a mean spirited, selfish, inexperienced rude and insecure old man who blindly kowtows to his base...the White working class. He throws them the bones left after he gives the meat to the 1%, and as long as he hammers away at social issues and immigration, they don't notice they're getting fucked. And probably fucked worse than they have been by the traditional political establishment...even Liberals.

If it's a bad thing you blame him; if good you credit someone else.

1 - Of course we blame him, because he was responsible. He blames someone else.
2 - If HE did something good, we would give him credit. Instead, when something good happens through someone else, HE takes the credit.

I don't know if the wall is all that doable. Especially not the way the president claims they will accomplish it; with Mexico paying for it.

Trump pretty much admitted to it being security theater anyways in those phone leaks. That's my reading of this statement anyways.
"Believe it or not, this is the least important thing that we are talking about, but politically this might be the most important talk about."

No one wants to pay for theatrics, especially not if the illusion could be easily dispelled.

Trump probably could make efforts to improve border security but that doesn't inherently mean a wall. It could mean more personnel, sensors of some kind, more cameras, more maintenance on the already existing tech. I don't know for sure. But something more incremental would likely be more feasible than a showy spectacle.

The rule is the pres will be blamed for every thing that happens while he is in office, so he claims the credit as well. Sorry I did not invent the system, that is the way it has always been.

Ah, the cry of "tradition" as a defense of something that's wrong.

This is why we need an educated electorate, something neither party really wants.

One of our neighbors has a Trump flag on the porch, for a year now. It's been joined by American flags on his truck, his van, and both front and back porches. It seems every time Trump does something redneck-ish, however stupid, the accoutrements of patriotism and leader-loyalty get ramped up.

Worth repeating.

Even though it's been shown that if completed, Trump's wall would cause hundreds of billions in economic damage, mainly thanks to environmental issues, contracts have already been issued to build demonstration sections. I don't know if that's just theater to keep the supporters happy, but it's definitely foolish. He would do far better to pursue tech options for security.

I cannot remember giving him the benefit of a doubt. Honestly, I was open-minded. He's used up all my hopes of hope.

You should respect him for trying to keep his promises, all too rare among politicians. Every politician promises to secure our borders but he is alone in keeping his promise. In 2020, he will be able to point out his record of keeping his promises in the face of virulent opposition.

If he makes it to 2020 -- Bannon gives him a 30% chance of surviving that long.

Drones, possibly. It is not like these job hunters are armed.
