I hope with this near scare that the british people can wake up and smell the coffee so the speak. Bush isn't their enemy. It's terrorist foreigners (well actually terrorist citizens since they technically have become citizens but never assimilate).
I think they should impose a immigration ban on Pakistan (I can almost guarantee these were Pakistanis or some South Asian in this failed plot). Pakistan needs to clean up their act, so why keep importing from a country that doesn't do as much as they can to fight terror?
I think one thing about America is that most immigrants generally assimilate well here in the states. Our terrorist attacks and near-terrorist attacks have all come by way of foreigners. Britain clearly needs to get their house in order and they can learn a lesson from us.
But I'm going to predict that they won't do anything. They'll keep blaming Bush and America (even though they're equally guilty in the Iraq mess). They will turn a blind eye to terrorism and still point the blame across the Atlantic. And Bush will continue to ignore them and treat them like retarded step children.
It's a vicious cycle of blindness and blissful ignorance.

No, terrorism isn't an accident. But that wasn't my point and you know it. The point is, the chances of you or me getting killed or in any way affected by this specific incident is zero, van, zero. So why does the media throw its blouse open to reveal a scared, ticking little coward-heart every time something like this happens? And how does it help to get all nelly over it? This is life today, this is how we will live for years to come, get used to it.
There are times on the subway when one hears a clunk or a bang and everyone looks at each other like, "Oh Fuck," but they don't wet their dresses, they don't stop riding, they don't stop living, they don't say, "Let's surrender our rights to pervert Bush so we won't be scared anymore." Unless, of course, they're Republicans. Those cowards, well, that's a different ball game.
They're quite properly downplaying the concept that the attempted bombing was a threat against gays.Despite gross scare-mongering in some quarters, there's no evidence to suggest that two car bombs defused Friday in London's West End were in any way aimed at Saturday's nearby Pride London parade.
"It is not thought that the device had anything to do with our event, or Canada Day, which takes place today in Trafalgar Square," Pride London said in a statement Friday. . .
A Bush supporter?
Iraq and their weapons of mass destruction, North Korea and the nuke threat, Iran and their oil, Venezuela and their oil,the Russian Federation and their gas, China and her goods, Canada and her oil and water, the list goes on and on.
Trivia question:
What cuntry with atomic or "new-clar" weapons have actually used them to wipe out civilians?
Hmmm.
Regarding the earlier posts suggesting a possible link to London Pride, here's London Pride's take on it:

Um. . . no 365Gay didn't. ("LOL" really? "LOL"? How sad.)Thanks 365Gay reported differently. Of course no one would want a huge event with tons of sponsors to go flat. That would means huge monetary losses. LOL
Saturday, London will celebrate Britain's largest LGBT pride. Thousands of people are expected to march through the area, near Piccadilly Circus with tens of thousands more lining the street.
But the parade and the large number of people jammed into the area may not have been the intended target police said.
...
The bombs exploded at the Aldgate station near the Liverpool Street railway terminal, Edgware Road and King's Cross in north London, Old Street in the financial district and Russell Square, near the British Museum.
The area is home to a number of gay clubs and bars.
...
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said there is nothing to indicate terrorists planned to attack gay marchers on Saturday.
Organizers of the pride celebration say the parade will go on as scheduled.
^ You need to get out of the US and see the world. How's NK sound?
them damm ferahners is just messin up this here nation of umm
IMIGRANTS???

Yeah, put an immigration ban on Pakistan, yet use their corrupt dictatorship of terrorist Musharraf for the "war on terror", keep using terrorists when convenient, but when they hit home, then get all racist. How about instead of putting a ban on immigration from an entire nation, stop bombing people, stop terrorising others and imposing your will on others, and then we'll see. Britain chose to go to war, even though majority of their citizens were against it. Banning Pakistanis or South Asians will not do anything, terrorism is an idea, and ideas have wings. Stop imperialist wars, stop imposing injustice, stop supporting tyrants, stop your military and economic hegemony on other land, stop state terrorism, and it just might become difficult for defenseless people to resort to "terrorism".

It might not be popular to say, but Pakistan is a terrorist haven.
In addition, that government isn't doing all they can do to help us (yeah and neither is Bush).
And look at all the plots by Pakistani immigrants. I think there have been more potential and actual attacks by Pakistanis than Arabs in the West.
That's not very PC. But if you're fighting an unconventional enemy, PC (political correctness) goes out the window for me.
You can call them freedom fighters, but to me terrorists are murderers.
you simply dont know what you are talking about here
give us some sources for this information you;re passing on here
pakistan is the US's most successfull partner in the war on terra donchaknow, and they have found more terorists that bush and the USA did
real ones too
show me the documentation that these pakistani imigrants have done all of this
show me where i called anyone a freedom fighter
show me where you have ever said one thing about a person of mideast heritage that did not imply that they were terrorists
then we can talk

No one has claimed responsibility and police say they are not certain of the motive.

But the parade and the large number of people jammed into the area may not have been the intended target police said.
Nobody claimed responsibility for the plot, and government security officials said late Friday that no suspects have been identified.
But the discovery of the second bomb, about 20 hours after the first, suggested a coordinated and more sophisticated plot than was initially thought — similar to the July 7, 2005 suicide bombings where four bombs exploded within an hour of one another on London's busy transit system.
Some analysts said the bombers could be trying to send a message to Britain's new leader.
You're giving them too much credit. They reelected a Bush leech.
Where I come from, if you vote for someone it generally means you support his or her's ideas. They've been let off the hook too easily with this Iraq mess. Americans are to blame but so are they. And they had a democratic election to voice their contempt for the war and they didn't.
That guy was craving for attention and wanted to big a "big player" on the world stage. The fool leaves and now he's begging Bush to be a middle east envoy.
What happened to just retiring?
1) Pakistan has helped immensely. I didn't say they were doing little. I said they weren't doing as much as they could.
2) My comments about being PC are geared towards people that are against immigration restrictions that could possibly help prevent terrorists attacks. These are the same kind of people that would call terrorists freedom fighters IMO.
Lastly, I didn't know Pakistan was in the middle east.
And did they blame Bush?
