what are the things that you believe in so wholely in life that you would never consider apologizing about?

For me its my dedication to the anti war movement.

there is nothing i wouldn't do to promote peace and an end to all warfare on the planet.

I am also a rather dedicated civil rights activist.

listen to this link as you make a post for us ;)

There will always be wars... War is required to settle our differences, where diplomacy fails.

lets not be confused here folks

i dont want to debate our values ;)

I just want to know what the important causes are in your life

I'm anti-war too :D

I believe that homosexuality is a perfectly natural, normal thing. I will never apologize for being gay.

I never apologies for any of the things I believe.

What does apologizing do? Doesn't apologizing for things you say you believe in mean that you really believe in nothing at all?

weird

the more life happens to me, the more liberal i get

i am becoming one of those ultras myself

I believe that the insurance industry is a racket and should be investigated by the Feds.

I believe that Alex Ross is the single greatest comic book artist in existence.

I believe we went to war to make corporations rich and that it had nothing to do with freedom.

I believe that we are not alone in the universe.

I'm sure there are others...

The Film: - "Network" - Peter Finch, William Holden

Howard Beale: [shouting] You've got to say, 'I'm a HUMAN BEING, Goddamnit! My life has VALUE!' So I want you to get up now. I want all of you to get up out of your chairs. I want you to get up right now and go to the window. Open it, and stick your head out, and yell,
[shouting]

Howard Beale: 'I'M AS MAD AS HELL, AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE!' I want you to get up right now, sit up, go to your windows, open them and stick your head out and yell - 'I'm as mad as hell and I'm not going to take this anymore!' Things have got to change. But first, you've gotta get mad!... You've got to say, 'I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore!' Then we'll figure out what to do about the depression and the inflation and the oil crisis. But first get up out of your chairs, open the window, stick your head out, and yell, and say it:

Howard Beale: [screaming at the top of his lungs] "I'M AS MAD AS HELL, AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE!"

A woman's right to an abortion

Only say you're sorry for something you've done wrong. Other than that, 'fuck you' is an appropriate response. =]

I'm an anti-war, anti-racist, anti-sexist, anti-violence*, anti-cruelty*, anti-religion, anti-materialism, bleeding-heart-liberal-lefty fruitbat.

I'm pro-sexuality (in all it's many forms), pro-peace, pro-spirituality, ...and pro-rats.

same... but sometimes I'm just in a bad mood.

I'm pro-life,believe one day we will reach our potential as human beings and work together instead of national or regional self-interest,anti-discrimination and bigotry.

I believe we all matter as people, and rich, middle class or poor everyone is entitled to be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion

I think the less government has on it's plate, the more effective it would be.Bureaucracies are self-maintaining,non-responsive entities

Society works best bottom up,not top down.We have to do our very best, through private networks, individual and group initiative,to solve the problems of our communities where we can-the marketplace of ideas and initiatives can be incredibly rich when unencumbered by big government, big business, big anything

I'll never apologize for my belief in God, my fight against discrimination, and my compassion for those less fortunate than me. I also will never apologize for being gay and loving it.

wow what great answers you guys are giving

I always like to see people put their core ideas forward in a positive way instead of bickering about it in threads

I can't say I agree with every cause listed, but I admire everyone for having them, no matter what they are

I hope people keep them coming!!

Andreus, I find that happening to myself too! I'm an active Episcopalian--- and I'm totally committed to a priesthood that is not restricted to straight men! What fools we have been to impoverish our religious lives by denying the priesthood to 60% of the population!
