As the youngest person in my immediate neighbourhood I get the papers in for the old timers and read them first. None of the newsagents deliver any more. I don't actually read much of the news, I mainly just do the crosswords.

At work, one of the ladies buys a paper every morning from a guy selling them on the street corner. I usually give it a browse at lunch. I will also give the Property Times (Tuesday supplement) a quick whirl to see all the high-end mansions I can't afford, and the Drive Times (Thursday supplement) for new over-priced car reviews, as well as having a crack at the Target and reading the cartoon strips.

The rest is online or, for a breaking story like that missing plane some weeks back, TV.

On line.

I live so far out in the country that there is no cable and no paper delivery, but that's not a problem, as I've always preferred to read the news so I can go back over the details if need be.

And, I wouldn't have a TV in my house, anyway.

I tend to just read newspapers websites for most of my news, and perhaps the news at 10 just for a round up of things I might have missed. I do read a paper when I am traveling on the train, but just the ones that are left about on there.

Mostly online but if I'm in the city I'll pick up the free newspapers available in the subway.

Online and The Daily Show/Colbert Report(so I can laugh at the news).

For opinion and commentary...Bill Maher

For things I am mostly interested in I read Bloomberg BusinessWeek...

Local News occasionally....

Online ... from as many different sources as possible.

I gave up on TV as a worthwhile source of information years ago, and most newspapers are just a waste of trees.

Whatever I see first. I skim the newspaper, I also see pop-up news on the internet and I sometimes see the news on TV. Another source of news is talking to family and friends who relate some news story. If I am really interested in a story I try to view two or more sources to get all of the story.

I usually just get my news online. I watch the Global evening news from time to time as well.
I don't subscribe to the paper anymore. I used to go buy it on Fridays for the TV guide, but now that I have digital cable, I don't need it anymore.

And here's something interesting... the reason why I watch Global in particular, rather than CFQC or CBC is because I have a crush on the weather guy :). Only I would perv up a thread about news sources .

Several online sources. T.V. news is horrible. And can't remember the last time I read a news paper.
