not sure what category this falls in but internet sites are LEGALLY responsible to report crime on their sites - don't get it twisted in no way am I defending Zuckerberg who is a filthy piece of shit - but I do know that sites are required - if someone post underage on this site then JUB is required to report it

the hell if they aren't... they are most certainly required to report illegal activity - I was told first hand by a swat team who raided a house in our neighborhood - and in fact not only the site but an individual - if someone sends you an illegal imagine in your dms and you don't report it you are now a criminal as well

and just so you know - at least 50 profiles on every adult internet site and app is law enforcement - and if your behavior indicates that you might be interested in illegal activity (like saying I like young) then they will contact you and try to entrap you - this is FACT

I bumped into one on a chat once. He was saying he was thirteen and turning fourteen the next day and talking about what he wanted at his birthday party. After a while he was talking about sex, saying he wanted a "man" to teach him, trying to get me interested. When he asked "Can I please have sex with you on my birthday?" I sent back, "Sure -- four years from now when you turn eighteen."

I'd never encountered the kind of language that followed, not from a thirteen-year old. It was when he went ballistic for me "wasting his time" that I wondered if it had actually been a kid, and I went to private chat with a couple of guys I trusted and asked about it, and they confirmed that the account was considered by most people to be a cop.

It's because another 35% of the country recognize that no one they vote for will actually represent them, so they don't bother voting; also quite a few can't vote for either party without compromising their consciences.

The Democrats hold the key to this: if they would take action to get members of the U.S. House of Representatives elected proportionally statewide, with ranked voting, a lot more people would vote, and the result would be a House with multiple political parties and no single party with a majority -- it's been a decade since I ran the numbers, but based on party registration in just California, New York, and Illinois, the House would have people from at least ten different political parties the first election this was done; the next election would have even more once people recognized that there were candidates who actually stand for what they do

An example of this is something I've seen a bit of on pro-Second Amendment site forums, where several people have openly said that now that there's a Supreme Court that is treating the Second Amendment more like the courts have treated the First, they "can vote for Democrats now" -- whatever one's position on the Second, it's an example of how people might agree with three-quarters of what one party stands for but just one or two issues in the other quarter make them vote the other way. It's agonizing to some people I know because they feel that by voting for anyone in this two-party system they have to violate their consciences. The flip side happens as well; I know a couple of people who really lean much more towards the Republicans but refuse to vote for them due to the insane positions on abortions. Then there's a fair contingent who are Goldwater republicans, and others who are Eisenhower republicans, but they have to grit their teeth as they vote for Republicans (the local Republican party chair is in the first category); if minor parties had a chance pf electing people to the House they would drop the GOP in a flash.
