Attention Facebook: Have you ever been in Facebook jail?

I must say I haven't had any problems with FB bans since the Summer, in spite of remaining just as political as I was then. Perhaps they have learned to check reported stuff better. Or perhaps it's because I barely spend 1/10th of the time I used to. I now seem to be down to once a month on FB and a few times on insta.
 
I just no longer contribute to any image pages and I now know how to call out racists without using FB trigger words.
 
according to several post that showed up on my timeline this morning - yesterday Facebook deleted the top 3 atheist groups which together represented over 200K members which had no current violations of "community standards" - they simply sent a notice to the admins of those groups stating the reason for deletion is: "Dangerous individual or organization"
 
Yes Been in FB jail because they didn't like my comment about Nuking China because of cv19! Also there was an ad for a jewelry store hawking the heart of the ocean from Titanic well I found a gif of Britney saying "But I thought the old lady dropped it in the ocean in the end?!" And it was her hands reaching out for the gem the astronaut was handing her and they flagged it as pornographic! SERIOUSLY?! So I kept posting it over and over and over at that damn time it was the motherfucking principle! FB is becoming a bunch of fascist Nazi's and anyone that deigns to go up against them gets suspended! I couldn't even say boo you whore from mean girls because they considered it hate speech again SERIOUSLY?! So I added Bu U Who.Re! and it let me do it!

This is horrible! Which atheist groups were those? What are the names? I heard of a few being nuked as well.
 
^^ sorry - I am not atheist - I am Pagan - but support their choices - so I am not a member of any of the groups - so I don't know the specific names of the groups and I have way way to much activity on my timeline to go back tracking for them... maybe you can do a FB word search of the word atheist and the post made about the closings will show up in results....

For me, this is final. I've always said that if I ever got another ban, they would lose my business. After this weekend (I'll be away for four days in an hour) I'm going to throw off all the friends except the very close ones, and will only post things open to "only me" and I am not going to write a single word in public anymore. I've had it with the cunts.

FB lost my interest when zuckerberg and trump had private meetings. I don't trust either one of them. I now associate FB with trump - same with twitter - I see both as party of the trumpiverse.

If it wasn't for the cute animal stuff I wouldn't even be on the site. I rarely post anything - can't even remember the last thing I posted.
 
It just keeps getting crazier...

So I got a three-day ban for the two pics I posted in #110 and #111. I had the chance to appeal and I did, but I thought it would be to no avail. So I stayed off Facebook for 3 days.

To my surprise, my appeal had been studied within SIX MINUTES and I had won. So I could have posted in most of those 3 days anyway!

A day later and I've got a brand new 7-day ban, for the same two pics, and no possibility to appeal. So now I've decided to completely empty my FB profile when I can. (During a ban, you cannot remove posts, unfriend people and so on.) That is in a week, but I have no ambitions to check out my profile until Easter because I'll be travelling for most of the time. Not very far, but travelling. Doing other things.
 
It really isn't worth it any more.

For me, it is back to the original purpose...to see pics of family and animals. I won't contribute any original content.

I block all suggested pages and most of the ads, so the algorithm that tracks me must be getting more and more frustrated these days. And I suspect that I am not alone. I find that a lot of times, my demographic is often acting similarly. There are a lot of people that used to be on my 'friends' list who have deleted their pages over the last few years, mostly because FB is such an angry, restrictive and boring space to occupy.

I have primarily been using it for the newsfeeds, but most of them are now restricting free views to just a few articles per month or are behind paywalls.

I look forward to the day FB begins to seriously fail when advertisers realize that the traffic isn't worth their while.
 
Just got out again 2 weeks ago. Someone posted a story of this dogfighting jag bag that would pay local gang bangers to break into people's yards and steal their animals to use as bait for the fights, and that his wife would dress nice and go to places where animals were being given for free to use as bait as well. Keep in kind there were no names, no pictures not even ages or a city; so I post I hope he gets shot that was all brother 7 day ban! It was a fucking blanket statement I tried appealing- nothing because these cunts sit in India and have no fucking clue about context etc! Getting real tired of Facebook's bullshit!
 
Some of you guys take Facebook way too seriously :lol:
