Im hoping sombody out there knows how to fix this problem. On facebook when i get to the home page and want to "share my thoughts" it does nothin but just sits there and never allows my message to post. I have tried the help tool but so far have had no response. I have seen quite a few facebook users that are having the same problem.
Any advice is much appreciated
 
I'm not having the problem but thought i'd look around on facebook for posts of folks having this issue. there are a lot going back a year or so. some folks fixed it by updating their flash player, but i'm not sure why that would help. others fixed it by updating their browswer. what browswer and what version are you using?

It happen to me before a few times actually. I just refresh my page and it work. Maybe you can try refreshing the page first?
 
I can't help you. My problem is that I keep saying really stupid things to the guy I like (on Facebook) Now how do you solve a problem like that - except by cutting off my fingers?

How do i refrresh my page. The thing that bugs me is that it just all of a sudden started doing this for no reason. Have no clue!!!!!
 
Just go to a different site for a few minutes and try again. Happens to me every so often.

Refresh button looks like a turning curvy arrow at the top of your screen near the address bar, btw.
 
It's odd but a SINGLE refresh of the homepage does the trick for ME......IE8.......you should see a tiny yellow error notification at the extreme lower left corner of the browser window when the page is "stuck".

And yes.....F5 is the quickest/easiest way to fresh ANY page.
