Facebook Profiles To Go Public

Its ANNOYING, that is the problem. When a friend sees me join a group they don't agree with, we get in a long drawn out discussion about it that is irritating at best.

I've asked them only to send app invites if they think I would REALLY use it. Unfortunately, some people can't tell the difference and some apps don't care.

Well if I were you id leave facebook, doesnt seem like you like it?

The only reason ive carried on with this is because to me nothings changed, and in my eyes if you dont want it to change then you dont have to have anything different. But then others dont think that and thats fair enough.

I'm only there because it is the only way to keep in touch with some friends who have gone away to college. E-mail, while useful, can be easily missed.

I'd be happy if I could effectively turn off these stupid app invites. If i've already got it, why I would I want more invites to get it? If I don't have it, don't repeatedly send me invites to it. But people and facebook itself don't get that.

BTW, who said anything about not liking change? Change isn't the problem. The problem is feeling like privacy is being delicately chipped away and that some of their 'features' don't work properly and they don't care.
