You just can't get away from it! Heard this on the news last nite. Flour Bluff is a small town just south of here. I have heard of bullying last year. It's possible it was this young man. I even signed a petition about the bullying there. RIP Teddy.
The school board says they've heard of nothing like the bullying. The mother says she reported it last year and even took her son out of that school and put him in another one. Of course the School Dist hasn't heard about it because the members of the Wolf Pack are footballers. The last quote is from a student at the school. I copied it from her Facebook page.

Family Says Bullying Led To Teen's Suicide

Posted: Apr 2, 2012 7:00 PM by Lindsay Curtis - [Email Address: Removed by Moderator]

CORPUS CHRISTI - A Flour Bluff teen took his own life overnight and today, his friends and family say bullying is to blame. Police say 16-year-old Teddy Molina shot himself in the head last night inside his home.

Teddy Molina's family says it's a problem that's been going on for years. "They would pick on him and they didn't understand when enough is enough and I guess these kids don't understand how much pain he went through, how much of a toll it took on him," said his older sister, Misa Molina. Misa and her family say a group of students that call themselves "The Wolf Pack" have been tormenting and bullying Molina since middle school. They say there are about 15 or 20 members in the group and most of them are football players at Flour Bluff High School.

just so you all know... Every single member of the "Wolf Pack" (including suspected members) were sent to Alternative school (SDGC) today.

I'm sure that the Wolfpack kids' parents think that it is their kids who are the victims.

Wolfpack kids and parents philosophy: a good faggot's a dead faggot.*

*with apologies to Gen. William Tecumseh Sherman vis-a-vis indigenous Americans

It came out on tonites news, the Wolf Pack told him they were gonna shoot him. Classy.

At the risk of over-generalizing, in what state is this happening? I don't believe in divine retribution.
However, check out today's story on tornados in Dallas.

Yeah because bullied teens aren't killing themselves all over the country. So lets turn this into a hate Texas thread because that will help.

I"m not sure what an "Alternative school (SDGC)" is. It doesn't matter really, he got bullied over there apparently.
I'll see what it is.
Oh, Chrisrobin. The state is as JayHawk put it, Texas. The town is just south of us.

The woman sent her kids to live with their Dad in Houston, so that is probably what the alternative school is.

Kuli It may have a different meaning in Texas but children with discipline issues are sent to alternative school. Those types of schools have strict codes of conduct and more presence of staff to keep the little fuckin animals to themselves until the state can be relieved of the legal burden of babysitting.

Yeah, that's what I looked for. Damien Kyle what it is in Houston. But as it turns out, I think the 2 kids sent to Houston are a different family than the one who killed himself. So there is the thing the school has bullying problems that the school district says they don't. Texas bull shit!!!!

Jayhawk's right about the school. Parents these days...

Ah -- like what they used to use the Catholic school here for. It had a nun/student ratio of about 1:10, plus lay staff.

I get a newsletter from Equality Texas, and they say

The Anti-Bullying legislation Equality Texas worked to pass in the last legislative session [HB 1942 by Rep. Diane Patrick] becomes effective this coming September. It requires school districts to have policies and procedures in place to ensure that reports of bullying and harassment are documented, investigated, and resolved.

So there has been legislation made for this. I'm surprised the GOP in the House and Senate let it pass.
I was right there were 2 families involved with the bullying and the school says there is no problem. There is now!

Oh yeah, the kids sent to Houston to be with their father? It turns out the mother is Asian. Good ole, South Texas good ole boys. Did I say Good ole boys?
There ya have it!!
