Funny you shoudl mention it.
Because I had to don a suit to go to a dear friend's funeral a couple of months ago, and because the church I'm attending still had a cadre of old men who wear suits to services, I've bothered to find a few jackets and suits that fit me.
Yesterday, I rummaged through my ties in the top drawer and found the red & black & white paisley bowtie and cumberbun and tried them on. For the first time in years, I plan on wearing them to Christmas Eve midnight services.
Many years of tradition and seeing folks in holiday finery come flooding back.

Hey Everyone, I survived Thanksgiving Day dinner, now I've got a fridge full of leftovers that could last me til Christmas.
At this rate my only posh suit won't fit me anymore. Gonna order a new suit for the New Year - I'm gonna retire from the Dept. of Education in the next eight months.
