Oooh. Another chance to see Chris Evans in a skin tight suit! But seriously, this definitely looks better than the first. I'll definitely go see it.

The Silver Surfer looked freaking fantastic in that!

Hopefully it will be better than the first one.

Looks good, but I hate that title. Just makes the film look like a set-up for the Silver Surfer spin-off movie.

I just have one question though....Wasn't the silver surfer a good guy....I don't know too much about Marvel Comics, but in all the instances I had seen him in Marvel cartoon programming he was a good guy that helped everyone....

When the Surfer first appeared, he was the Herald of Galactus, Devourer of Worlds. Conventional ideas of morality are hard to apply to Galactus, but since his coming would have meant Earth's destruction, it is usually considered a Bad Thing.

Luckily, Reed Richards managed to convince the Surfer to convince Galactus to leave the Earth alone. The result of which was that the Surfer was dismissed from Galactus' service and became a conventional "Good Guy".

But he certainly wasn't when he first appeared.

I liked the Surfer. He is basically Marvel's Superman in terms of power. Yet he was not a boring character. Writers are just now learning how to make super man deep.

That's exactly what it is. They wanted a way to introduce the character and then turn it into its own franchise. I do agree that Silver Surfer looks great. I just hope this one is better than the first one. I was expecting a bit more from Dr. Doom, who will be returning in this new film by the way. They kinda ruined that character.

That was a killer teaser! But I'm holding my judgement until after I've seen the movie. The first one was... ho-hum.

That was really NEAT!! Although I liked the first "4" movie, since it was an "intro" into the movie franchise, it did seem a bit too "campy".

Nummy. I dunno,f irst one sucked, but if they can make the Surfer a good badguy instead of Doom, and if their powers are better honed, then I'd go for it.

I don't see why everyone is dissing the first one...especially die hard comic fans such as effortless and luminum...

As a comic buff myself I thought it was great... it made all the characters very similar to their written form... the story was good.... and the efffects were great....

I mean it does suffer from what every comic based movie suffers fromand that is the setting it up for the non readers to get involved.... a little re-write never hurt anyone... look at the success of spiderman and x-men

The problem with the FF movie is that Dr. Doom was made into a mutate rather than a skilled individual with magic and hi-tech, like he is in the comics. Spider-man wasn't really changed that much; the only real change was his web-shooters; otherwise, all the power sets and relationships were kept intact (almost all of the changes were cosmetic).

X3, however, was all sorts of suck. Too many characters barely resembled the comics, relationships and team affiliations were changed, and the writers didn't even bother to pay attention to things that they wrote in (Straight up: You have a powerful mutant go ballistic. You have a mutant in the area that shuts down mutant powers. The solution to the ballistic mutant? You kill her by letting another mutant walk up to her and stabbing her, conveniently ignoring the power-killing mutant and that the mutant walking up to her could have been tossed into orbit.) It was a great FX movie, and I thought some of the powers were used coolly (such as Madrox providing a distraction for the sensors by multiplying), but otherwise....
