I just flew a trip to Lihue, Hi. today. There was a guy who was 350 lbs. and could not have possibly fit in one seat, he overflowed into the seat next to him and even if I had a plunger, I was not going to get him in that one seat with someone next to him in the center seat. The flight attendant didn't want to deal with it. I went back and brought him up to first class and waited for boarding to end. Thankfully, there were a few empty seats. I started re-arranging folks and managed to get he and his wife in a row with no one in the center. He was the sweetest guy and couldn't thank me enough for helping out with his predicament. It's a 7 hr. flight for gods sake! We are all of different sizes, preferences, likes, dislikes etc. We need to just look at everyone as our fellow man and help them as best we can.
