So i dont know if anybody else has watched this documentary or not but Its basically about a "juicing" diet. Where you buy a juicer and drink nothing but juice from fruits and veggies for however long. I decided I'm going to buy a juicer and try it out. my only question is if anybody else from here has tried and succeeded/failed and if it did work what are some things i should know?
 
My aunt did a juicing diet and lost quite a bit of weight.

The thing with living/eating healthier is that it's not a one-time event. It has to be a lifestyle commitment. It doesn't necessarily mean you need to be strict with diet, but you have to just eat things in moderation and exercise.
 
Currently doing it right now. Sucks less than I thought it would, actually.
I'm not fat (by global standards, not American standards) I just wanted to change things up a little and improve my health and looks

Similar to why I'm doing it. I'm not fat by any standards. 5'9 and 175... just a little chub here and there i'd like to get rid of. That and I'd like to start getting in peak condition so when I join the military I'll look.... well, hot.
 
Seems like you'd be depriving yourself of lots of nutrients.
 
as long as you still *eat* something it could work. Should pay attention to the juices that you drink though. I can imagine that only drinking fruit juices could become a problem.

No you dont actually "eat" anything. the juice from the fruits and veggies are enough to keep you going. seriously... watch the documentary.
 
Then this is almost equally silly as the "light" diet. I see that this seems to be mainly about the "detox" and "negative calorie" fads. All of this is bullshit from a medical and scientific point of view.
