My parents have a book about sex en the difference about the two sexes. While we were cleaning up my room I found (at the age of 8 ) that book between other books from my parents.

I asked them what it was and they said that I should read it first before I should ask them questions. So I started reading it and because of the difficult words I stopped. Because it was so hard to read I thought it was stuff for older people.

One year later I had my first sexual experience with a girl of the same age. Hmmm... I wonder if it's because of that book of what we've done...

Growing up in an Italian Catholic household with 5 boys, well, it wasn't really necessary. We were all 2 yrs. apart. When we were 18, 16, 14, 12,10, there was alot of wanking going on in that house, believe me. We were always catching each other, it was a great childhood. My dad new his boys could take care of themselves so to speak. My dad was a hands on dad, he knew what he needed to tell us and he did, he also knew that sex wasn't one of them, we could learn from each other, and we did.

I was given a book and told to read it. I did. I was asked if I had any questions. I asked if you could get VD (That's the phrase we used back when dinosaurs walked the earth) from oral sex. I was told that masturbation may feel good but that it was unacceptable and that it was "bad policy" to fondle or be fondled by another male. I did not heed either of these pieces of advice. My father is a great human being really, and not especially given to saying stupid things. But I thought the "bad policy" comment was laughable even at the age of 11.

My school taught me this stuff in Grades 4-9 health class, so ages 9 and up. This was in the 80's. Did civilization go backwards since then or something?

I suppose the parents talked about it as part of "How did your day go at school" kind of dinner table conversation. It was never supposed to be a mystery.

My parents never even mentioned the word "sex" to me. I would have been mortified if they had. I was left to figure things out on my own. I started masturbating when I was 10, but I didn't know what masturbation was until I was 12. I knew it had something to do with touching yourself, but it never occurred to me that THAT's what I was doing all along. Also, I didn't start ejaculating until I was 12, so you can imagine the horror the first time it happened after I had been jacking off for a full two years without anything coming out (I miss not having to clean up, actually...) and then suddenly having a huge mess. Those are the benefits you reap from a public school sex education course that teaches you nothing about sex.

Whilst young, anytime the conversation got even slightly personal (which was rare) I'd feel off about it, as I wasn't used to my father having any sort of connection with me, and he knew that too.

My mom went out and bought a puberty and sex book. Unlike most everyone else, I had NO IDEA about sex. The book was prefaced as if the child had been hearing rumors and whispers, but I had no such experience. So I had a very sanitary understanding until I was like 14.

I first got a computer when i was 11 when windows 98 came out and was popular. and i did all my research about sex online through chat rooms and porn. I had a pretty good understanding about sex at a young age.

My mother talks about sex when i was younger bits and pieces. I am in the closet and i don't discuss my sex life with my family, My family still thinks I'm a virgin I'm 22 my mother still try's to give me sex advice. Girls are this and girls are that wear a condom don't make them preg etc.According to my mother when i have my first sex im going to be addicted and want more and im going to fall crazy in love with the girl. I usually change the subject when she brings up sex because some of the stuff she says sounds off the wall.
