Faux real life accounts in JUB posts

I can understand some of the OP's hesitation towards the
stories posted here, but for every person who's willing to
share intimate details about their Life, they're at least 5 of us who
are not..

From personal experiences alone, I can probably write a blog full
of hot stories and situations which actually occur in my everyday life,
but I'm not there yet in terms of how intimate I'm willing to be with strangers.

I'm thankful for those who are.

I understand what you are saying and, after a couple years of being here, am in a somewhat similar situation. Not exactly the same, but similar. I share many of the basic details about my life, but the deeper, more personal parts are kept to myself. Especially since after an attempt to share details of my early childhood and the loss of my parents caused a fellow jubber to call me an outright liar because he decided my "story" could in no way be true. I will not name this asshole as there is no point to naming him, he knows who he is. But for this reason I decided to share my deeply personal moments with individuals I have chosen to trust here on JUB, and have refrained from posting a blog.

Its sad to say, but even here on JUB there are shitty assholes just like everywhere else in life.

You don't have to name him.. The behavior you mentioned
rings a bell with my recent memory...We'll just agree that he's an Asshole!



I don't advocate using the Ignore function, but it does wonders with
meanies and jackasses...

This situation happened over a year and a half ago, but yes, I placed him on ignore. I don't mind people not believing me, their inability to understand the truth changes nothing. But when someone mocks the death of my parents, they've crossed a line.

I don't really understand why people aren't more open on this forum. It's anonymous no? Why be secretive and withholding? It seems to me that this would be the place to tell your secrets and private experiences. No harm, no foul. You don't know any of these people. Maybe I am missing something though

That is why. But I guess you missed it. Why share if others want to be assholes about it.

Which ones are you talking about? There haven't been really any posted here (detailed accounts like you said) recently that I saw other than what I wrote and that one is 100% true. I have no problem discussing that if you were in fact referring to me.
