All this talk about the bad that 2007 had to offer, one has to try to find the good over the past year and fortunately, at least in my opinion, some of the best songs of the year came from the gentlemen:

01 GRACE KELLY
Mika

02 STUPID BOY
Keith Urban

03 GUITAR
Prince

04 FUTURE BABY MAMA
Prince

05 I THINK I'M FALLING IN LOVE
Lucas Prata

06 DO YOU KNOW? (THE PING PONG SONG)/DIMELO
Enrique Iglesias

07 THE ONE U WANNA C
Prince

08 I TOLD YOU SO
Keith Urban

09 NOTHING LEFT TO LOSE
Mat Kearney

10 THINK I'M IN LOVE
Beck

Honorable Mentions: "You Give Me Something," James Morrison and "In The Dark," Tiesto

First time I had ever seen the first one and all I have to say is: Freddie Mercury lives!

Glad you were awakened to Mika, jft245.

Although he released several hit singles in Europe this past year ("Relax, Take It Easy," "Big Girl [You Are Beautiful]," and "Lollipop"), he only broke through in the U.S. with two Hot 100 singles:

"Love Today" (below) which peaked at No. 92 the same week -- April 14 -- "Grace Kelly" hit No. 57.

Patrick Wolf!! He's brilliant, and is going to be huge in the coming years I think (at least he deserves to be). He's incredibly talented, can play a huge number of instruments, and at 23 he even produced his third album The Magic Position, released in March this year.

^^^ I agree about Patrick Wolf. ..|

My favorites:

1. Matt Bellamy (of Muse)

The rest are in no particular order:

Patrick Wolf
Josh Homme (of Queens of the Stone Age)
Sebastian Bach
Ronnie James Dio (of Black Sabbath)

I don't listen to very many male singers but I'd have to say Robin Thicke and James Morrison.
