I think it would be interesting to see what other daddy/bear/chub actors the users of JUB like. I know it may not be the most consistent medium for our spectrum of eye candy (and certainly very little revealing). Despite this, movies were really the first media that gave me some eye candy. Being young and unaware of what I found sexually attractive*+ not into pornography yet, they were my first glimpses into my sexuality.*
If people need a resource or reminder of a special actor, one can look into Thundercizzle's blog. It was quite awhile ago when I last looked at it but it certainly caught my interest! If you are reading this Thunder, thank you.*
My first crush in my life was Paul Giamatti. I was pretty young, no older than 12. In the otherwise useless "film", Big Fat Liar, Paul Giamatti plays the antagonistic movie producer. In the middle of the film (the only scene worth watching, at this point), Paul prances around his home and swimming pool in a pair of decently tight boxers. At this point in his career, he wasn't as stocky as I like now (he has bulked up a bit since).*
Not only is Paul Giamatti nice to look at, but he is also an excellent actor. Sadly, he hasn't had much opportunity to be a star actor. He generally plays background characters. Sideways, American Splendor, The Illusionist, Big Mommas House, Duets, Lady In The Water, The Hangover: Part 2. I wouldn't call him my favorite actor but he has definitely "kept me company" when I was feeling depressed.*
He has such a cute face, he is annoyingly adorable. I will admit that he has a definite look that he could stick with. I have found that without his beard, he doesn't look as attractive to me (and I am not entirely fixated on hair).*
In closing, here's a picture of him from the HBO series John Adams, in his knickers:
A picture of him with a sniper rifle:*
In Lady in the Water. This film has a scene where he swims shirtless:
I would recommend Sideways, American Splendor, The Illusionist & Lady in the Water. On a scale from top to bottom in both movie quality and "Giamattiness".*
Feels like I couldn't possibly make an adequate tribute to my first celebrity crush... This will have to do. In the future, Jason Alexander (a fleeting Seinfeld scene, underwear modeling!) & Alec Baldwin ("I'm a daddy... and I'm a bear... I'm a daddy bear!").*
