Favorite Beer

I go through favorite beer phases, but in the past year I have been drinking Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. For a 5.6% alc content beer, it's remarkably smooth and tastes wonderful.

I very fond of Yuengling Traditional Lager, but because of the calories in Beer I'm a Bud Light guy!

corona and rolling rock are good... but yeah, I tend to drink hard liquor and "poof juice" more as well hahaha

My favorites usually come from the Leinenkugel brewing company, or the New Glarus brewing company, but if I'm just sitting around drinking with friends, I'm most likely holding a Coors Light

i like:

but it's surprisingly hard to find it in northern california, so i just drink:

which is pretty good itself

I love Modelo! It's been too long, I should go get some...

It's Bulgarian and it's the best beer in the world: Kamentiza

Hey, Big D, you spelled it wrong!
Maybe you've had too many? :p

I prefer Schultheiss. Its hard to get it anywhere outside of the Berlin state area. Oh god, dont even get me started on all you people who chose American beers. If your favourite beer is American, you dont really like beer.

And you've tried all 22,000+ American brews?

I'm not sure I have "a" favorite brew. It sort of depends on time, place, season.... But often my first beer at a bar or restaurant will be

Quite often outdoors in good weather, I'll opt for

But the one I always look on the shelves for in the summer is....

New Belgium founder Jeff Lebesch is a tri-athlete and avid outdoorsman and he wanted a thirst-quenching light beer that wasn't insipid. And seeing as how he had a brewery, it doesn't seem like asking too much. Brewmaster Peter Bouckaert took the challenge and Skinny Dip is the result. It has a bright citrus flavor thanks to Cascade hops with just a toch of tang from Kaffir lime, though it's by no means lime-forward. It's a beautiful bright gold and a moderate 4.2 percent alcohol. All in all a fine reason for mowing the lawn on a hot day!

I'm just glad no one said Bush. :p

I've heard it called "Republican piss"... and last summer a fight nearly broke out when two guys yelled at some others they wouldn't let anyone drinking something named after a fascist president be at their swimming hole....

I'm a Yuengling guy myself!! Unfortunately I can't buy it in GA, so I have to travel to another state to bootleg it back. Damn... I'm always bootlegging things back from different places. :help:

Hi Comet,

If your working for Delta Express you will have to get on the Harrisburg, Scranton or Allentown routes and then you will be in Yuengling land! I fly to Atlanta a lot on Delta Express, so...see you soon! (But I guess it wouldn't look too good for a pilot to have a case of beer in his carry on bag.

Yeungling's available here, but it's too pissy for me. My Favorite CHEAP beer is actually Pabst's Blue Ribbon, but I like the Sierra Nevada as far as commercial American Beers go. I do miss the brew pubs from out west, there was a

microbrewery-by-night/kindergarten-by-day

place in Medford or Grant's Pass or somewhere that had this incredible elixir they called "Midnight Stout" that I would buy in Mason Jars to take back to the commune. YUMMY!

I Do like the Stella, the Negro Modelo, oooh rolling rock is a good "spring beer."

heck, man, i just like beer.
bud, miller, etc...is NOT beer.

Ooo, I haven't had Leffe in the longest time. But it is rather tasty.

I was recently introduced to Aventinus, a wheaty dopplebock. It packs a punch at 8.2%! A little thick, but has such a delightful after-taste. where have I heard that before?

OMG! I don't drink much ... hardly ever, but when I do want beer its some good old shiner!! Here in california it's hard to find at bars, and it's so sad. It reminds me of home!

You made my night GL for posting that! (*8*)

I'm a Texas native, I was born there!
