OMG! I haven't even thought about the Lotus Europa since the 80's.
One the great moments of my life was 1989 when a sharp-looking guy showed up at the unemployment office driving a Lotus Esprit. Despite all the attention, the guy was still able to file his unemployment claim, lol.
The Lotus Europa kinda reminds me of the Honda Civic del Sol.
One of the hottest cars on the market in the 1990's, the del Sol was so popular with thieves the chances were 50/50 that every del Sol visible on the streets was stolen.
Stolen or not, the Civic del Sol was the car that never stayed stock for long. Which made stock del Sol's very valuable.
