Definitely"The Wizard of Oz" - it's still one of my favorite movies today.

I watched a lot of Disney when I was a child. A LOT of Disney.

The Little Mermaid is memorable and likely the first film I ever saw.

"The Wizard of Oz" for me too.

Mary Martin in "Peter Pan" was a perennial favorite as well. Though this version is more fun to watch now.

The Canadian station would usually run "The Snow Queen" sometime during the winter. The English dubbed version with the voices of Sandra Dee and June Foray, but I can't find that one on youtube.

I'm a child of the early 1970s so I enjoyed all the animated and live action Disney movies.

I liked "Tom Sawyer" (1973) with Johnny Whitaker, Jodie Foster, anf Jeff East (who I had a young crush on).

I love "Where the Lillies Bloom" (1974). Julie Gholson gives a strong natural performance. I believe this is her only film.

The cheesy nature-takes-revenge horror movie "Frogs" (1972) Dad took me at my older sister to see it. Now one of my guilty pleasures.

On kids films, BODO (It's engish title was The Wiz Kid) was really one of my favourites. He was a kid with lots of machines who made a double and had a robotic monkey. :D
Never as a kid been quite a fan of Disneylike animated films (I even like them more now) but when I was really little I did love Disney's Lady and the Tramp. I even had a tape with the audio from the film :)

As I was quite an unsupervised kid I did watch a lot of films and I was quite a fan of Sci-fis, horror and adventure films. Films like "The incredible Shrinking Man" or "Conan: The Barbarian" were what I liked the most

I personally love The Wizard of Oz. I was heartbroken when i seen someone slandering it in another thread a while back some where here on JUB. The original, it's one of my ultimate nostalgic moments. It takes me right back to when i was a kid and the whole movie just has this magic feeling about it (for me anyway..) But yeah, what is your fave child hood movies or things that make you feel nostalgic or take you back to a time in your life when you were maybe more happy then what you are now? Another one i really love is The Never Ending Story, that was another of my faves. Check this tornado seen out if you have not already. It's off it's head, i think so anyway. Really powerful for me anyway..

The Wizard of Oz. So much better than what kids these days are watching. Some don't even know about WoZ. I'm like what?? It's not like I was around when it came out but come on...

My favorite childhood movie is definitely 'Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory'. I still enjoy watching it today with my neices. It's a blueprint on how to be the perfect child!

Here are some of my favorite scenes:

Veruca Salt

My favorite scene!!

I was way big into horror growing. Can't believe some of the shit mom let me watch. Also liked, both "Breakin'" movies, and we'd watch "Red Dawn" pretty much on a daily basis.

Think my alltime favorite might be "House Party". Run around quotin' that shit, to this day!!!

Maybe it's just me, but there was something extra special about fantasy kid flicks from the 80's. Some of my faves:

Return to Oz (always preferred it over the Judy Garland movie)
Labyrinth
The Neverending Story
Legend (between the demon from that movie and the original It, Tim Curry kept me up many a night as a kid!)
Willow
The Adventures of Baron Munchausen

I loved going to a neighborhood theatre when I was growing up. Disney had some great live action films.

North Avenue Irregulars was a fun one

101 Dalmatians, Brave Little Toaster, The Rescuers, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Tiny Toons How I Spent My Summer Vacation, Mannequin.
