I did like Cyndi first, esp after her award presentation moment in the Grammy. But lack of hits and years later, I was more into the news-making machine - Madonna. I love a woman who commands attention.

Still, everytime Cyndi appears, I enjoy her presence. She's an underrated artist.

I really like Cyndi Lauper. Very under-rated as an artist and singer, pretty good actress and seems to have a very upbeat, positive and funny personality. She has many more songs than girls wanna have fun and time after time. Her acoustic album was awesome and it's too bad her original fans didn't grow with her (I was only a few years old when "girls" came out).

I do love her work. I think she lost the plot in the late 80s, and had a hard time finding the way back. But a lot of her stuff has held up really well. Her live version of "Money Changes Everything" REALLY rocks!

Cyndi is amazing and such a sweet lady too. Although her success is diminished compared to what it was back in the day I prefer her more recent albums, especially 'Sisters Of Avalon'.

Cyndi Lauper's True Colors Tour

Hi guys! I saw Cynid Lauper's True Colors Tour concert in Boston and hope all of you who can attend one of these concerts in a city near you will go. You guys in USA are so lucky..its so hard for me to go watch good concerts here..I like Cyndi Lauper and Debbie Harry.
I have to be content with DVDs and occasional trips to Bangkok and Singapore to satisfy my concert/musicals needs.

Jealous as hell! She was nowhere near me and I couldn'e make any of the dates work. I would have traveled for this one! It would be nice if she expanded the tour!

Well, she said in an interview she's hoping to make this a yearly event. Go to the tour site; there is a contact link so you can contact her tour management to request dates near your city. The more people who talk about this and express interest in the tour, the better. At the concert, she thanked the audience very sincerely for our support of the tour, but it is I, along with so many people, who are thankful for someone like Cyndi who put this enterprise together. It was a very emotional night and I think Cyndi is absolutely the most original and sincere artist out there, and has a heart of gold. Thank you Cyndi!!!!!
