Cyndi Lauper is my favorite pop artist, and the remarkable thing is she's been doing this for 30 years, reaching out and winning new generations. That's because she is unique and original, in additiion to having a beautiful voice. The fact that she is a great human being and is sympathetic to gay people is the icing on the cake. I wish her 30 more years of great success!!!

Ok, seeing as you didn't tell us, I'm assuming the award is best dance recording album?

Alive 2007 is an incredible album, but seeing as it's a live recording (Best live album?) and esentially a greatest hits, I'm a bit lost as to why it would be there, seeing as the other nominations all seem to be original material?
